I am new to golf after a 25 year layoff. After hitting with several name brands, I decided these clubs did some things better for me. They absorbed more shock, Similar Products Used: ping, tour edge, tommy armour |

After researching and demoing many sets of irons, I went with the TA5's. They are very forgiving and very easy to get up high in the air. Every shot feels solid and crisp. A great deal and I highly recommend them for the mid-high handicapper. Similar Products Used: Nicklaus air max, cobra gravity back, armour 845's oversize |

TA5 irons - dynamic gold, steel, reg. flex
These are really great irons for the price. They have a traditional look at address and a thick topline for added confidence. They resemble the X12s in clubhead shape and look. The low-profile really does help get the ball up in the air quickly. Because of the higher trajectory, they are maybe 5-10 yards shorter per club. But the added forgiveness and control is a decent tradeoff. Overall, a really solid iron - especially for the price. I would recommend them for mid-high handicappers looking for a solid, reliable set of irons. Similar Products Used: Nearly every mid-priced iron set on the market. |

Cleveland- TA-5 Irons
I got these irons for a fairly good price in myrtle beach, South Carolina. I find them fairly easy to hit for beginners, but once you become more advanced, i would say its a wise choice to get rid of them. I seem to hit them extremely high, but almost all the time, the contact is solid and soft. Great irons for beginners, there's no doubt it helped my game for a while. The clubs are easy to set up to and they are fairly light. The thing i liked most about these irons was the solid feel and durability. Similar Products Used: amrican standard irons |

I've been looking for a new set of clubs for a while now. I've tried Titleist, Taylormade, Callaway and Mizuno. Non of them felt perfect for me. The Taylormade I think has a far too good reputation. I had no control of where the ball went. However they where very forgiving on mishits, the ball traveled very far although I hit it really bad. When I tried the TA-5 I was very surprised, I hadn't heard or read anything about them before. They had great accuracy, consistensy and they goes really far for me (200 meters with the 4 iron, very far to be me...). I generally hit five-ten meters longer on every club than I did with the SuperSteel. They feel great at impact, and they give you great value for your money. Thought about buying the GunMetal (look great...) but in Sweden they cost like 250 $ extra. Similar Products Used: Taylormade SuperSteel (no feel at all), Titleist 981, Mizuno Comp C/T (european model I belive) Callaway X-14 (NOT great looking...) |

These are some SERIOUS game improvement clubs, boy. Since picking these up a month ago, I have seen my game come a long way- from mid-90s to 80s like that. The words here are solidity and consistency. The expression that "it's not how good your best shots are, it's how good your worst shots are" might have been coined to explain why this is such a great club. Maybe this will be lost on all the good golfers out there, but since picking up these clubs I have not hit a single iron that has made me say "what the F*** was that?" And that is saying a lot. Oh, and I just thought of another key word to describe these- LONG. I'm boostin' 5 irons 195 yards no problem now, way up from before. Customer Service Well, none, but I got a free bag with the set- it wasn't great, but I put my old clubs in it and sold it to a friend for $150- do the same and you'll save some serious dough. I spent one solid day trying out Wilson Fat Shafts (my old set of clubs), Ping I3's, Callaway X-14's, Cleveland TA5's and the Taylor Made 360. I had my heart set on buying the Callaways and really had no intention of even trying the TA5's but the Pro at the Pro Shop recommended I give them a try. I was blown away!! The TA5's were at minimum 10 yards longer than any other club I tried and the ball flight was perfect. Usually when I go to a driving range, I hope no one notices me. But the way I was hitting these TA5's, I was hoping someone was watching! Customer Service I had a question concerning shaft flex. I called Cleveland and the Customer Service Rep spent 15 minutes on the telephone with me explaining shafts and which shaft he recommended I try. He was very pleasant and very enthusiastic about golf. In the long run he gave me good direction. I purchase the shaft he recommended and could not be happier!
