None I am six foot 6 inches tall and was fitted with standard length clubs bent 2 degrees upright. The offset doesn''t keep me from controling trajectory or shot shape. Not that great a feel but the performance made up for that. First time out on the course with these I shot 77. I would recommend trying everything before you buy. Go to a pro and get fitted then buy your clubs on ebay. There are many sets being sold on custom order. You''ll save alot of money. For the price I paid for my clubs retail I could have bought Ping i3''s on ebay. The best clubs I ever hit were the Hogan apex and Titleist 681. None I purchased my clubs summer 2001, and at first, I was afraid that I had bought a set of lemons.(I was playing Taylor Made LCG''s). After playing with them for a month or two, I started feeling them. I first noticed that I was overclubbing. My Taylor Made 7 iron, now became a Cleveland 8 iron. Now I have gone down on all of my clubs, and I am even pulling my 4 iron out of my bag. I love them. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made LCG |

CLEVELAND TA5 IRONS
Strength:
None
Weakness:
None THESE IRONS ARE GREAT AT GETTING THE BALL UP IN THE AIR IN A HURRY. THEY ARE ALSO VERY EASY TO HIT WITH MUCH FORGIVNESS. THE LONG IRONS ESPECIALLY SEEM TO GET THE BALL HIGH INTO THE AIR WHICH ON LONG PAR 3''S IS A MUST. PLAYS AND FEELS MUCH LIKE THE CALLAWAY X14''S. DEFINITELY A BETTER VALUE THAN ANY OF THE OTHER HIGHER END CLUBS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THESE IRONS TO ANY CALIBER OF PLAYER. THEY ARE ALSO VERY LONG. I HIT MY 7 IRON ANYWHERE FROM 160 TO 170. I ORDERED A GAP 52 DEGREE WEDGE INSTEAD OF A 3 IRON. EXCELLENT CLUB FOR 100 YARDS OUT. I DID NOT GIVE UP ANY DISTANCE FROM THE 3 IRON TO THE 4 IRON. THE 4 IRON SEEMS TO GET THE BALL AIRBORNE QUICKER THAT THE LOWER LOFTED 3 IRON. I CAN ACUTALLY SITCK 190-200 YD PAR 3''S WITH MY 4 IRON. ta-5 gun metal
Strength:
None
Weakness:
None The Cleveland ta-5''s are awesome clubs. I originally had the regular flex, which I sailed shots deep with. Than I switched to the gun metals with stiff sensicore shafts. What a difference. I have shot 2 games in a row below 80 with them(77 and 79), which was rare for me. I like the way the gunmetals lign the ball up and they look and feel awesome. When you hit a good one, you know it. Just watch it fly. Even mis-hits go far and straight. I hardly chunk the ball with these irons, which is what I like the most. The shots go high, far, and straight which is really what golf is all about. I recently tried the Wilson Fat Shafts, Ping i3 blades, and Ping eye 2''s. Nothing compares, these are the most forgiving clubs on the market. Similar Products Used: Wilson Fat Shaft, Ping i3 Blade, Ping Eye 2, Ben Hogan Magnums, and Wilson MBT irons. |

Cleveland TA-5
Strength:
None
Weakness:
None I''m getting back into golf after a 15 year hiatus. I''ve always played with forged clubs. I went with the Rifle 6.0 shafts (the standard TT Sensicore reg. shafts didn''t work for me). The stiff Rifles hit straighter. The TA-5s are very forgiving clubs. The low irons (3,4,5) are much easier to hit than I''ve ever experienced. Setup is nice, decent sweetspot. Good price, great clubs! Similar Products Used: Ram Tour, Stature Forged |

TA-5 GM
Strength:
None
Weakness:
None The thick top line reminded me of my old Ping Zings but the nice look of the gun metal and the lower profile made up for it. After finding my new groove for these particular irons I began hitting solid consistent shots with all of the irons. The trajectories were consistent with my old Titiest DCIs but I have gained about 5 to 7 yards a club. The TA-5s are easy to hit and my shots were checking on the greens more so than my old DCIs. These clubs are great and they look great in my new black Titiest carry bag next to my Titiest fairway woods (14.5 and 16.5), Taylormade 320 driver, 588 Cleveland 53 degree SW and Teardrop putter. Great work Cleveland. I believe these clubs will take me to the next level. Similar Products Used: None |

None Great feeling, good distance, nice looking, but poor quality. I bought my set aat the end of 2000. My PW broke after 3 months of use and two weeks after the 9 club broke. I wrote to Cleveland and their response was not what you could consider a marketing oriented company. After sending e-mail to several people I finally got the set replaced. My new set arrived and I used them for about a month when my PW, 9 and 8 irons broke again. Customer Service I am still waiting to hear from them to see what are they going to do. What is sad is that I after what I have gone thru I still like my TA5. Similar Products Used: KIng Cobra and Callaway |

Cleveland TA5 GunMetal Graphite irons
Strength:
None
Weakness:
None I bought the TA5 GunMetal Regular Flex Graphite. They are great. The shaft is very light weight. I can swing easily and feeling very comfortable, don''t have to grip so tight to hold the club during backswing. GunMetal looks cool and feels soft. These clubs are forgiving, suitable for beginners. Distance is improved a bit. After tried, my pro also said they are great. Also tried X-14 when buying, feeling quite close but cost nearly 40% higher. Maxifi Revolution Midsize is also good but quite heavy. Similar Products Used: X-14, Maxifi Revolution Midsize, Ping ISI |

None I recently bought the ta5 gunmetal set. Befor, I was playing hogan apex plus and shooting in the high 70s and low 80s. I noticed results my first round. I now can hit long irons accurately and on line every time. I went and played 9 holes after work and shot an even par. they showed me that i wasnt aiming correctly. I think these are great clubs for beginers or for people who are already good golfers. Similar Products Used: None |

None Looking to buy some clubs that will help my game improve. Currently using Wilson oversized (my pro pointed out that they don''t fit) I already have good loft and good distance, looking to take game to the next level (need consitency). Looking for a club that is forgiving, yet as my game improves I will be able to shape shots. Is this the club for me. Pro shop guy is leading in Clevelands direction. Similar Products Used: None |
