Upgraded from a set of graphite shafted Mizuno (Zephyr) that are not even listed on Golfreview. Distance has improved GREATLY for me but sadly I dont't hit as consistently in distance nor direction. Using Intelligolf w/GPS I tracked an 8i that went 156m(170yards). I used to hit 125m on the mizunos and usually now with the CG4 140m(153y).
Customer Service I bought them off Ebay.....I read about the fakes but it was off a Gazillion feedback bigstore seller so I guess they must be real. Similar Products Used: Mizuno Zephyr, Mizuno TP something or rather 15 years ago, the ones Nick Faldo used. |

I'm a bit confused about some of the reviews on here. I like the feel of my CG4s but I'm not seeing anywhere near the distance benefit of some reviewers. I've actually found these irons to be about 5-10 yards shorter than the Callaway VFT knockoffs I was playing before. Maybe it's the shafts I don't know. I got the TT Dynamic Gold R-300 shafts instead of the stock shafts. At this point I'm having a hard time giving them a solid review because of this. I'm disappointed with the distance. The look and feel of the club is great though. |

If people are looking to buying some Cleveland CG4's i highly recomend it. They have a really nice feeling at contact with the ball and the ball gets shot up in the air nice and high for a nice landing on the green. Some CG4's are fake though. If you want to be sure about your purchase i would head down to your nearest golf pro shop and get tips on how to choose real CG4;s as China is making them as well in bulk quantity and not such great performance. Over all these clubs hit the ball really well, you recieve high ball flight to land the ball nice and softly and they are a lot of fun to play with. |

These irons are very nice and feel extremely solid when you hit them. I got these on eBay for 300, less than half of retail! If you're also looking to get these on eBay to your research to aviod fakes. These clubs launch the ball high allowing for nice soft landings on the green. The stock cleveland grips are very nice and the action life steel shafts are great. The only bad thing I noticed about the irons is that after only one round the new look seems to dissapear. I think this is partially because of the material the head is made of. Other than that the cleveland CG4's are great irons. I highly recommend these clubs expecially from a quality brand like cleveland. Customer Service Never needed, but have heard very positive things. Just a heads up for people looking here for reviews on CG4 and thinking about buying them on ebay. I am starting to see a lot of volume of these clubs come from certain sellers, almost too much volume. I did some research, and found a lot of sites like this:

Cleveland CG4 Tour
I purchased these last week to supplement my Cleveland CG1 set. I grew up hitting my dad's MacGregor Tourney irons in the back yard with friends, so i was spoiled by the forged iron feel. I now only play carbon steel irons, which basically means some sort of blade or semi cavity-back iron. Don't like the semi cavity-back irons, as they have a harsh feel. So, I use blades, and have supplemented 3,4,5 irons of the Nike Slingshot Tour, to get the performance I need from the long Irons. For a stainless cavity back, these were the best I had tested. I had iRod shafts installed and they work great, except that the distance between the 6 and 5 irons is huge! I would like to have a 5,6,7 cavity iron with little off-set and the feel of a soft carbon steel blade.
Customer Service So far, the best in the industry. Very cooperative and they tend to live by "the customer is right" motto more than any other company I know. I've worked in high pressure customer service industries and am a student of Quality Management. Cleveland is a leader in the customer service business. I blew a lot of money on game improvement irons from Taylormade, Wilson, and Macgregor. Found myself always coming back to my old set of Titleist 690CBs. Then I found the CG4 Tours - they do everything thing my Titleists do, only better. I like the small clubhead of the CG4s - there's no doubt it gives me much better control over the ball than a clunky midsize or oversize club. But what sets the CG4s apart from any club I've played is the huge sweetspot. Seems like the entire clubface is the sweetspot. I have more control over these clubs than any I've played, and their distance is excellent as well. These are a terrific set of irons - they have me playing the best golf I've ever played. What a pleasure to play, I've been a Mizuno fan fpr many years, my last set being the mp 30s. I've read reviews and tested many irons this year, the cg4 your irons have actually raised my game to an new level of confidence and accuracy. The dsitnace is sightly longer than the MP30s, the feel is far better than the callaway X tours and the playablity is very comparable to the mizuno's. At times I feel like I'm cheating with the easy and playabilty the iorns offer. Thanks to Cleveland. Similar Products Used: mizuno mp 30s, callaway X tours, cleveland cg2s |

Wonderful clubs, a little longer than the Callaway X-16 pros that I was playing. These clubs are for the player with a 15 handicap and lower. Great feel and look. Customer Service Have not needed. |

CG4 irons
I recently bought a set of Cleveland irons (CG4) and shot 41 for nine holes the first time using them. The feel was softer than my Tommy Armour 845 irons which I would also recommend to anybody. But every shot I hit just seemed to be a much softer feel to the point that I wondered how the ball was carrying the distances it was traveling. I feel I made a great choice in the CG4's. |
