I found the clubs caused me to fade the ball, didn't like the larger grips. If your a low handicapper, go for the firm flex, my pro recommended the regular rifle shafts...Felt I lost distance with these clubs, I play the Callaway S2H2, these are a much better club. Not pleased at all, sold them to a buddy.

Look - inspires confidence with thick top line. Reduced offset helps alignment. I like the new polished finish - makes the clubs look alot classier than the regular X14s.

Feel - shafts are ultralight at D1. Very stable head as opposed to most clubs but nothing like a forged club feel on sweet shots - just muted and very solid.

Playability- Easy to hit, ball goes higher than most clubs and very straight. No effort to hit a straight ball. I didn't really try to work the ball for this reason but I just about hit every green. The main adjustment for me was the thick - first thought was that the bounce would affect my shots but I picked shots off the fairway pretty cleanly.

Distance - long. As long and as high a trajectory as any club I've hit before.

Chipping/punch shots -no problem here altho a little softer feel would have been nice.

These irons with the rifle 6.5 tour flighted shafts are the best irons i have ever owned. They play like a blade but are so easy to hit most any level golfer could play them.I have played wilson staff tour blades, pings, callaway s2h2, Armour 845, 845 evo, and 845 evo reduced offset, and none of these come close to the x-14 pro series irons. They are the best ever, and I have no idea how callaway will improve on these irons.

Customer Service

I snaped a biggest big bertha where the clubhead attaches to the shaft, and they gave me a new driver.

Incredible irons! The season is just beginning here(Ha Ha). I picked these irons up because I wanted to hit something with a little forgiveness but nothing oversized or outrageous, these fit the bill perfectly. Been playing hogan blades for years and I've just gotten tired of the sting. It's extra strong in the cold. Well the X-14's are nothing but pure. I can do everything I could with the blades but these feel so much softer and easier on me. I am 51 but still going strong. Played a round and half yesterday in what I could only call a squall. I might be stupid but I just had to keep hitting these irons. Took a 3 iron off the tee on a short par four and had 170 in. Took a six iron and one hopped it into the hole. First eagle I have ever gotten on a par four. Felt nice. I hope the shots keep coming with these clubs.

Hi, my review of these clubs are based on the old X-14, since its the only club i have use thus far to changing to the pro series. Ive played about 2 months of golf, im 19 this year, and boy do i hate the pro series before. It's harder heavier and stiffer than the X-14, granted, most of this stiffness comes from the shaft. Ive hit it alot worst, and every miss hit feels like a trip to hell, never on the X-14. Many times i was tempted to go back to my old club, but my coach says don't continue with this. He was so right, my swings are now more consistent, and i am not hacking the ball like i used to. There is this unexplainable feeling to this club, when you hit a good shot, compared to the X-14. I feel nothing from the latter, it's just hit fly and hit. Whereas from the pro series, i felt like i was in control of the ball. All that rubbish about getting a more forgiving club for beginners is bs, start from a slightly harder club, and work your swing is the only way to improve. I actually hit 130m consistently with the 7 iron than my old one, one 160 which i believe was a fluke. If you're getting a Callaway get this one, don't bother with the other irons.

Ok these are harder to hit than the x-14 if you are a beginner like me. Thud sounds are more frequent and the balls hit hard. Of course, these are great clubs, i pass it on to a friend and he hit it pass 150m with the 7, 40m more than he's old club, a Daiwa? Anyways from he's reaction, im giving it a 5 star. He thoroughly enjoyed this clubs, im still trying to get my feel.

Great clubs alot better than the Great big bertha's I had in the past. The rifle shafts are also alot better than the standard shafts in the X14's. Very forgiving even if you hit a bad shot the ball still goes along way - best looking clubs I have seen well worth the money
