Great looking irons. Thin topline, so they have a very traditional look. Minimal offset and great feel. NS Pro shafts launch pretty high, but that's OK. These clubs DO NOT have plastic inserts in the back. The "gravity discs" are part of the steel casting and are painted black. Great deals on ebay. As good an iron as you will find. This is an excellent product. The forgivness is unparrelel. Also the feel is outstanding. You can easily shape and ball and with the graphite shafts, you get excellent feedback. I, a 4 10" 12 year old, hit my 5 iron 150 50 feet in the air. Also the 2 plastic inserts reduce the shock vibration. It is perfect for the mid to high handicapper. IF YOU SCOOP THE BALL( your NOT suppose to) THIS IS NOT THE CLUB FOR YOU! The thin sole is perfect for people to hit down on the ball. Similar Products Used: NOTHING IN COMPARISON |

I just recieved the GC Mid Irons in the mail and so far I am very excited about my 190.00 purchase for MINT irons that I negotiated on eBay. What I would like to say first is that these irons are so pleasing to the eye and dont have all of those colors and logos that most modern irons are what I think over doing. I got a great deal on some irons that all but two showed up in original packaging. I have been hitting the short irons in my back yard and I am very pleased. They did take a little getting used to at first but what set of new irons dont take getting used to? I am coming off a set of cleveland CG4's that just really left a bad taste in my mouth and had a really small sweet spot. So far I have found a great set of irons that gave me forgiveness when I needed it and also told me when I hit it off the toe a little. Im satisfied and I look forward to my next several rounds at the course to play the hell out of them and see what happens. They set up with a thin top line and not alot of offset and I think they are very pleasing to the eyes and usually that little bit of extra positivity gives me a good boost. If you dont want to break the bank and need a good set of irons go on eBay and type in GC Mid! Similar Products Used: Cobra 3100, Mizuno MX-19, and Cleveland CG4's |

After playing with Mizuno's MP 32's for the last two years, I decided I needed something that was a little more forgiving. I hit the Mizuno's well but haven't been able to get out as much as I would like. I was in search of an iron that setup like a players iron but had the forgiveness of a game improvement iron. The Bridgestone GC Mid was that iron. Thin topline, minimal offset and quality shafts. An additional thing about these irons is that the lofts were also similar to the MP32's so I didn't have to adjust my club selection. Now, I have only played a couple of rounds with these and have been very satisfied. They feel good when you hit them good but also provide feedback on mis-hits. As for workability, the MP32's are a little easier to fade and draw but I've come to the realization that I am a better player when I am just hitting the ball straight. But, if need be, the GC mids still allow workability with just a little more effort. All in all, quality iron at a great price. You can find these new on ebay for less than 200 and it's well worth the money. Customer Service Haven't used. Similar Products Used: MP 32's, MacGregor 685s, Nike Pro Combo OS |
