Great irons from the 1950s. Mizuno's M-29 has a similar look to these classic Hogan irons. These irons are difficult, initially, to hit but with some diligent effort, you learn to hit the sweet spot consistently. The result is a high and straight trajectory. Typically these irons are shorter than modern clubs (37 versus 38 inches for the 5 iron). However, I am not a long hitter and I can still hit the 7 iron of this model 160 yards. What you may lose in distance you gain in accuracy.
