I hit these irons long and straight. I have 2-SW. Big gap between PW & SW which I hit 120 and 90 respectively. Cavity back makes it hard to fade the ball, but no problem drawing the ball.

THESE CLUBS ARE GREAT. I LIKE THE DISTANCE YOU GET AND THE FEEL. AS SOON AS YOU HIT THE BALL WITH THESE CLUBS YOU KNOW WHERE YOU HIT IT ON THE CLUBFACE. THE ONLY DOWNFALL IS THE LACK OF HEIGHT FOR THE LONG IRONS.

I purchased these clubs in 1991 and they are great clubs.Thier feel and playability are first rate.Apex shafts are a little soft and the sweet spot is small, but once you learn how to hit them its hard to go to a different club.I am now playing Mizuno Sures but still use my Hogan's once in a while to remind me of what a great golf club feels like.I don't ever plan on selling them. They are that good.

Bought used. Was using Edge GCD mid-size w/stiff graphite, but these apex 4 steel shafts w/forged heads are the best! Sweet feel when you hit 'em right -- something graphite can never recreate. Look for 'em - you won't be sorry.

Got these at onsale.com for $169.00. Best money I ever spent. The small head scared me at first but they are really easy to hit and they fly straight and high. The black steel shafts look and feel great. Hey, trust me on this, if I can hit them, so can you.

Absolutely the best clubs I have owned in 25 years. I initially purchased them used from a Club Pro whose complaint was he hit them too straight. He went to Hogan Apex. My clubs are getting worn and need to be refinished or replaced. What a shame Hogan doesn't have a replacement.

Beautifully balanced, easy to hit straight, fade or draw, and some Ben Hogan magic. I had a little problem with one club and the customer service was incredible. I could not give these clubs or company a high enough rating, would give 18 birdies if it were possible.

Customer Service

Some of finish was peeling off of the sand wedge. I took it in to my pro shop and the company decided, without my asking to replace the entire set, and give me the grips that I preferred, all at no charge.
