For me these were some of the worst irons I have hit in a while. The feel on these is harsh, very hard, and not good at all. Also these irons aren't as easy to hit as I thought they would be, I found other Hogans to be much easier. My advice get the Hogan Apex Edge's they are 10x better, better feel, looks, and distance as well.

Very nice clubs. Classified as standard length, they are at least quarter inch shorted then standard lenght X12s. Hogan 5 iron @ 37.25 inches where as X12 M10 shaft @ 38 inches. The 5 iron had the biggest in length difference, all others either .25 inch shorter. None the less, they are nice clubs to hit.

I used to play the original Great Big Bertha irons and did OK with them. With the new Hogan Edge CFT with Rifle shafts I am a whole lot more consistent, I don´t spread my shots the way I did before and although I now use steelshafts I hit the ball longer than with my old graphite shafted Big Bertha irons. I also get an exeptional feel when I hit the ball "dead center". These are the best irons I have ever used! Thank You Ben Hogan!

Demo'd the clubs today in Dallas. If you like a metal wood feel for your irons, these will do. Unlike other Hogan models, these are very hard. I can not speak for the technology, but the feel was harsh. Ping, Taylor Made, Cleveland and Mizuno all had demo tents next to Hogan, and I tried them all. IMHO, Mizuno Mx-20 was second and Cleveland TA7 were first. Even though the Cleveland boys were feeling a little cocky about Leonard's win last week with a Launcher, the TA7 was the best combination of feel and forgiveness. With a 6 iron carry of 170 yds, the DGS300 was a much better fit than the Release shaft. The release does have a softer feel but launches the ball very high. too high for me, but should fit a majority of smooth swingers. Hit it straight.

Customer Service

Very accomodating. No pressure to buy. Times must be pretty good.

I have been playing the Ben Hogan Apex Edge for approximately two years. After hitting several demos, I just knew that I had to have a set. The CFT's are very forgiving and produce a high trajectory. There is minimal vibration on off-centered shots. If you are looking for a club that is easy to play, looks great and has incredible feel, this is it. I can believe how quick the ball gets airborne and how easy the short irons are to play. I have played numerous sets of irons in the past and this is by far the best set of irons that I have ever played.

After playing the Mizuno Sure irons for a year I decided to try something new.I hit the Callaway X-16's & Big Bertha's,Cleveland TA-7 and 5's,Tour Edge,Taylor Made Rac ect. These CFT's are antastic clubs. They are VERY forgiving and feel great.Plus the added bonus of one of the best looking irons around. They can also work the ball when needed easily.Highly recommended

These are the most beautiful set of clubs in the universe and they feel just as good as they look. I am a beginner golfer and can get them up, hit them straight and get great distance with them. They are so pretty I hate to get them dirty and clean them religiously after every practice session. I don't think you can go wrong with these irons.

Wanted new steel shaft irons. Tried Taylor RAC. Once I tried these, it was no contest. Control is outstanding, feel is superb. More forgiving than I would have expected. I lost about 5 yards in distance, but what I gained in accuracy is more than worth it. I had heard that Hogans were hard to "get up". Not so. Anyone that can't get these irons up needs to give up golf and take up horse shoes. I love 'um.

The feel of forged with the forgiveness of cavity backs. They are slightly heavier then other clubs I have played so you have to have a smooth swing with a good tempo. When I try to rip one with them they tend to dig, my fault not the clubs. When I settle down and think about what I am doing they feel sweet and are fairly long. They look has good as they feel and when handle them you can see the quality that Hogan has put in them. No plastic glue on the club.
