Tommy Armour 845s Titanium
I've been playing with the 845 Titaniums for 10 years and cannot bring myself to switch to another brand, I've tried many of the latest and greatest and keep going back to the 845S Titaniums - They are forgiving and the only club that I've hit that consistently puts spin on the ball. I just purchased my second set on Ebay and wish that these were easier to find. Similar Products Used: Calloway X-18 - King Cobra FP |

Tommy Armour Ti face Irons
A few months ago I bought a set off these TA Ti face stiff graphite shaft and I think that are the greats clubs I have owned. They are very forgiving clubs for those miss hits and the center of gravite is low to mid and will get the ball high and long with accurate shots.with the Ti face I can get a lot of backspin.I underatand that TA does not make these any more, why I do not know.If youre a beginner or a scratch player you will play with confidence. Armour 845 Ti Face
They aren't all that large but they offer a fair amount of forgiveness. Mine are 3* up from the factory 1" over in length from standard. Have Stiff flex steel shafts with Sensicore. I like everything about these EXCEPT the for the fact teh "Ti" insert in the face tends to scuff the ball, even the very hard balls that I use BUT it's worth it as I have NEVER spun the ball before having these irons. In the short game: I love how the ball feels coming off the clubface,,,,,, I've read elsewhere on the net in other reviews on these same irons that guys say "they feel too hard for me to have any feel when chipping",,,,,,,, that's NOT the case with me, I love to chip with them. I am what people call a "Club Ho" and I do use a lot of other sets and I usually sell or trade just about all of them BUT I'll keep these. Customer Service No used them, TA makes good stuff Similar Products Used: Cally X-12, X-14 Pros, Ping ISI-s,TM 200, TM 300, TA EVO V-31, Cleveland TA5, and on and on and on! |

845 Ti Rifle shaft

Weakness:
None I have been very picky about the golf equipment that I use. Every year a driver and a new set of irons. I have now been using these Armour''s for two years and I can''t see ever playing anything else. These Ti irons are one step more forgiving then the 845 oversize and two steps more forgiving then the old 845s. These are the most forgiving and accurate irons I have ever tried. The Ti face is very hard, the grooves really bite and spin the ball. Armour has now discontinued these clubs, the only reason I can think of as to why they would do this is because they where very expensive. To continue playing this club forever I have been buying extra sets on Ebay. Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: None |

Great Irons!!! I would recommend them to anyone. When I was buying my new itrons, I was set on getting Callaway or Taylormade irons. I hit both and they and couldn't feel much difference between the two, then the pro wanted me to hit the 845's. I was reluctant because I wanted the BIG name. Well, long story short, I passed on the BIG name and my trade off was great feeling, responsive clubs. My irons are three years old and I would not trade them today for a new set of Taylormade's or Berthas. Similar Products Used: Callaway X-12's, TaylorMade, Titliest 845's, Wilson Fat Shafts. |

I really like these irons I get plenty of heighth and distance. The only problem was when I was practicing with my 7 iron, the head came off and went flying thru the air. I hope they don't have a problem with the graphite. I returned them for another set. Similar Products Used: None |

I found these clubs at Sams for $350 and decided to give them a try. Truns out to be the best move and money I've ever spent. I finally got to play these clubs and I was really impressed with the overall performance of these irons. They played about 1 full club farther than my old ones. The Titanium insert really makes the ball jump off the face. When I hit the ball soild, it was like I hit nothing at all the ball just sailed high and straight. Off-center shots usually go straight but not as far, and at times you can feel the effects if its really bad contact. These clubs are really forgiving and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to improve their game. They ran about $1100 when they first came out, so at $350, you cant go wrong. I think you'll be very happy, I know I am! I recommend Reg. shafts, unless you swing really fast. You won't find a better feel on contact than these irons.. They are straight, long, and much cheaper than others. Believe me I spent 4 hours swing all brands at a pro shop, before I decided on these.
