I was fitted for these irons by my teaching pro. I had them fitted with Rifle shafts.

At first, I was pulling the ball (going left for a right handed hitter). But I attributed that to the additional 1/2" of shaft length and lighter club.

The club does want you to put a good stroke on it. But it rewards you with a crisp feel and great ball flight.

I can hit the ball nearly as far as my old irons and with a smoother swing. I have not suffered any fatigue on the course - in fact I played 10 rounds in 7 days and still could play more.

The rifle shafts feel great and hold up to an aggressive swing. The Golf Pride grips are very good also. I have really enjoyed taking my game to the next level with these clubs.

Customer Service

It took too long to get the clubs - almost three weeks

These clubs are the best clubs Ive ever tried. The sweet spot is fairlt big and pure contact is weightless and sweet. These clubs look the best too. The long irons are so easy to hit high and acurate and the short irons are lasers that hold the green like magnets. tremendous backspin! The grips felt great even in the rain. I even puchased the SW ans LW because these clubs are the best i've tried. The distances are very actuare too. About 5 yards longer than my previous set. For $600 these are such a deal!

At fist I was unimpressed with thee irons. I was playing in cold and wet conditions and I only hit a few good shots. When I played in normal conditions however, I changed my mind. These clubs get great distance and are very accurate. The 9 and PW are workable and the long irons are stable and accurate. good buy.

I started playing with 845 O-size irons last year and went from a 30+ handicap to a 23. Because I got such a good deal on them at ebay I tried the V-31's. Holy cow. These clubs give such great feedback with ball contact, that I was able to make some minor swing plane adjustments and have improved my game to 12 handicap. I am saving almost a stroke a hole because I'm hitting more greens in regulation. I still have that ugly "8" on my scorecard, but that is my fault and not my clubs. I used to hit a 7 from the 150 marker. I now take a smoother, less agressive swing with an 8 iron. The older 845's were a great stepping stone for my game and I will always keep them for my kid. Even at 50% more price these irons would have been worth it. My hat is off, yet again, to Armour Golf!
