Adams A1 5-PW
Just received these from Rockbottom Golf for $99, which is a giveaway. Went out and hit the 9 iron and all I can say is I am impressed. These look similar at address to the Taylor Made RAC's I had and feel and perform just as good. This is just a first impression and I will follow up after I play a few rounds.I just feel for this kind of performance and value you can't go wrong for the mid-handicapper. Look beyond the ego and realize what works best for your game.

Adams A2 Idea 3i 20* hybrid
I'm 66, play to a 4 index and have a slow swing speed. IF I hit a normal 3 iron well, it goes 175 yards. With the Adams A2 3i, I hit it anywhere from 180-200 yards with no effort. It's wide face and sweetspot and its outstanding regular flex, Aldila NV low torque (2.5*) hybrid shaft both make it the easiest club to hit in my bag. I can even hook it or fade it at will. Kudos to Adams Golf. Got it brand new on eBay for $79. Adams A1 Irons
I have been stuck in the low 90's for months now. Shooting as low as 85, but have been hovering at 90 for quite some time. So when I saw the reviews here and the price of the Ideas on ebay I thought I should give it a go. Not a bad buy at a great price (180 w/shipping). First off these clubs look great, and it has a very nice feel to them. The irons have a nice even feel to them. If you take your time with these irons and try not to overswing with them, you can knock them well over your distances with your old clubs. I was hitting my PW 110 yards, 9 iron well over 130, 7 & 8 in the 140-160 range. Folks if you saw me you would realize that that is a huge improvement. I am not saying I lack muscle, but with my other clubs I always tended to select a higher club because I knew I would not get it there. The first few rounds I had to club down...never would I have expected that. I was in a fairway bunker sitting at about 135, this looked like a solid 6 iron for me, I grabbed the 6, and proceeded to hit it 50 yards past the hole. I had never done that before. Especially from the sand. Lucky strike? Maybe, but it seems that these clubs are adding at least 10% more yardage for me. If you feel comfortable shopping ebay, then these clubs maybe for you. The deals are there for the taking, and for the price they are much better than any other set out there in that price range. Similar Products Used: Acer Sole Undercut Irons, Odyssey Putter |

Adams idea A1 hybrid irons
All I can say is WOW !!! I tried various irons and these are simply the best I have hit yet . I would recommend these to any level player.. The first time I played with these clubs I shot 2 closest to the pins in a 4 man team 18 hole shootout scramble. Both shots were on par 3's of coarse , but can you say Airborne and straight and both within 2 feetof the pin. I have never played with such a nice feeling , nice hitting set of irons.. Always feels like you hit the sweet spot, so nice and soft feel... Adams IDEA A1 Hybrid
I have struggled with my long irons in the past, but the hybrids from Adams made drastic improvements. I used to hit my four iron 180, but with the hybrids, it is up to my 195, 200 club. The hybrids are very easy to hit and forgiving. They added at least 10 yards to every club. Similar Products Used: Bazooka J-Max Tour Edge |

Idea A1 steel shafts
I am looking to take the game more seriously and improve my skills. I was coming off of an ancient set Walter Hagen III’s and hit several different sets of irons, finally deciding on these. I wanted to get clubs designed for a lower handicap than I currently possess, so as I practice and become better, I am not looking to buy another set of clubs in a year or two. I generally hit straight, but make an outside-in move, giving me a slight hook. I hope this short history sets the stage for my review. What I like about the Adams irons as opposed to the others I had demoed: HIGHLIGHTS: --Very forgiving clubface. As long as you don’t completely hosel the ball, the ball flight is very straight hit anywhere on the clubface. --Consistency of flight. I was able to hit more balls consistently in a designated area with the Adams irons than with the other clubs. Particularly effective in this category are the 3 and 4 iron i-Woods. --Nice feel through the swing and on impact. The clubhead is not too heavy nor not too light. For me, this allows me to instantly feel issues with my backswing and reset before making an errant shot. The grips feel about right as well. I feel the club is secure in my hand without introducing heavy tension in my grip. Add this together with the forgiving clubface, and you get a club that telegraphs when things are very wrong, and compensates when things are only slightly wrong. Lighter irons, particularly the Mizunos I hit with, tended to get “lost” in my backswing. --Distance. Theses clubs are LONG. Bear in mind, I’m coming off of very old clubs. I was hitting a five-iron about 145 to 155, and I am now covering that distance with a seven-iron. This leads me to the best part of the Idea clubs. I hit irons better and more naturally than woods. The i-Woods have shafts that are iron-like in length. This fits my swing better, and with the increased distance, I have removed my 5 wood-—that I really had trouble hitting--from my bag. I now have a club—-the three-iron i-Wood—-that I can hit reliably one-hundred eighty to two hundred yards from the fairway. DRAWBACKS: --Comes only with 3 through PW. Would have liked a LW or SW as well, especially for the price. . .although I really like my Wilson Sandy Andy sand wedge. Not having a utility club that comes in handy from 50 to 80 yards out was a disappointment, and caused me to buy another club. SUMMARY: In short, the Idea A1s have already shaved strokes off my game. I haven’t had a single shank or mis-hit with these clubs, and they have really helped make me a more confident golfer, particularly on approach.
