I have always been a user of Adams golf equipment. From the GT, Ultimate, Idea and now GT2 (played with it for 20 rounds). GT2 provides the price-performance unmatched by many of the other club-makers. I demo-ed Callaway, Cleveland, TaylorMade, Cobra and finally still stick back to Adamsgolf! I just could not part with buying the Callaway X18 which is more than 3 times the price of the Adams GT2! Hey, with the many clones of those popular brand plus knock-off from one of the popular Asian countries, carrying an Adams is the best choice. Now to the GT2. Thicker top-line than the earlier series that I had (other than Idea). More friendly and forgiving. Progressive offset. I only got the 3-PW as I used Ping wedges to complement for my game. The loft from 3-PW were well-spreadout to cover the various yardage for the game. Unlike some of the other brand model (their 3 and 4 irons could be just 2.5-3deg diff!) The GT2 only comes with steel shaft, but once you get the hang of the weight and swing weight, this is a sweet thing. The downside...somehow, the grip size that comes with it is very small, smaller than standard men's size, where I had to spend another couple of dollars to replace all of them to slightly bigger than men's spec. I am still playing the 90s due to many other reasons (short drive...yes, trying hard to search for the perfect driver - I changed drivers on the average 3 times a year!!!). Give the Adams GT2 a try, hey, you might fall in love with it and never buy those over-priced clubs!

Well to start I have been playing the GREAT game for 8 months. I started with some VERY old Wilson blades which are so unforgiving and I am looking for a new set irons. I have ordered the Adams GT2 irons and hope that they play as good as they look. I know this review does not tell you much but I will be following this review with another when I use the irons. If you look around closely you can get these irons really cheap. I payed 109 British Pounds for them which is about 155 dollars for all you americans out there, so they are a really good buy.

Customer Service

So far so good.

I started out playing with a set of Lynx irons..then bought a new set of Adams Idea irons when they first came out. Well the Adams irons made me think I was a better player than what I was and I traded them off for a set of Ping Eye 3's...BIG MISTAKE! Then I traded my Pings for a set of Cobra SSI irons...they were pretty good...I just didn't quite like the feel. I decided to go back to Adams. So I went to the nearest Edwin Watts Golf shop and traded my Cobra SSI's for the Adams GT2 Undercut. It was a very smart move on my part. They're easier to hit...have a wonderful feel to them...it's very difficult to make a fat shot with them. I'm also getting about 10 to 15 yards more distance out of them than I did with my Cobra's. These are great clubs that are priced unbelievably low if you shop around. I was so happy with the irons I went and traded in my Cobra SS380 so I could get a GT2 driver from Adams. I'm very happy with all of my Adams clubs and don't plan on parting with them this time!

I have recently switched to the adams gt2 undercut irons and i am absolutly in love with them. The way you can work the ball is just amazing. They are very forgiving and the work ability of all the clubs are great. You can hit high shots, fades, draws, and punch shots with ease. I also enjoy the feeling of impact when striking the ball. My last set of irons were a set of taylor made rac os. The clubs felt great during impact but you could not work the ball at all. You got the same trajectory for every club. It was horrible in high winds. I have also played the cleveland ta7s' and the ball flight was quite the same. I have never been happier with a set of irons and woods. The price is amazing and the performance is spectacular. They also look great in the bag. I payed $199.00 for a set of 3-lob wedge. I do have only one flaw with one of the clubs i dont find the lob wedge very handy on tight lies. The sole is very thick making it difficult to hit flop shots. I have also purchased the ovation woods 1-5 and these clubs are very workable. I did not lose distance in my shots which is great and my accuracy is still on point. I would recommend this set to any one who wants a nice sleek iron with better performance than higher costing irons. From here on out i will always buy adams golf clubs. Hats off to adams golf.

I have been playing for 4 years and until two weeks ago played Maxfli Revolution Irons. I was traveling on business in lake Tahoe and was asked to play golf.... the rentals were the subject clubs. I hit them very well and wondered if it was just the fact that I was relaxed (being in Tahoe will do that). I rented the same clubs the next day and had the same experience; longer, straighter, w/ a big sweet spot. When I got home I went to my local golf shop and expected to see a huge price tag for such a great iron. I picked the up for $250.... really cheap. I have played 4 times in the last two weeks and these irons have made a world of difference. I was always trying to kill the ball to get any distance before Adams. A nice, smooth swing is all it takes. The offset even helped out my fade a lot. I posted my best score ever yesterday, a 77 where I normally shoot an 88 or so. I'm thrilled! Set came with 3-Lob.

I have tried many different Irons over the last few years (all of the major brands). I had settled on the Cobra ssi (my 2nd go around with them) until I bought the Adams Ovation Driver, I hit it so well I thought I would try a set of Adams Irons. So I took my Cobra 7 iron to Golf Galaxy and compared to the Adams GT2 Undercut 7 iron. I was impressed but passed because the set they were offering included two wedges (SW,LW) I didn't need. A few days later I found a set of GT2 100 dollars less (minus the SW,LW). I could not be happier the top line is not to thick but the soles are pretty wide. The 3 and 4 are very easy to hit. I played 18 holes without any fat shoots. My shoots were higher and longer, also hit alot of greens. I usally shoot in the high 80's, shoot 83 with so so putting.

Customer Service

I did call them a few years ago about one of their drivers (GT 363, conforming vs. non-conforming) they were very nice.
