I also had problems with the rubber backings. Unfortunately my wife lost two of them( my whole family ones one of these sets. Hirekogolf send me free of charge 5 new ones to the Netherlands. Excellent service I would say.

Purchased these last year and the clubs are amazing. There is little or no vibration. The ball takes off like a rocket with half the effort. I can now use a 3 iron with confidence. The trajectory is true to form with great backspin. I feel bad for the people who payed $1200 for the name. CONS:The rubber backings are held on with double sided tape. They will come off if left in the heat. I glued mine on witha two part rubber epoxy, they're on for life.

Great set of Irons. The black backing started falling off a few weeks after use. I liked the Irons so I removed all the backing and cleaned them in grip solvent. I then attached them with GE Silicone adhesive and now they are better than ever. I matched the heads with the Rapport N-271 shaft stiff. Added 10+ yards per club.

These clubs work great but the rubber pieces that cover the back of each club are attached with some pretty weak adhisive. I had my clubs for a few months before they started falling off. Other than that, they are great.

After reading many reviews and analyzing my game I decided not to spend $1400.00 on golf clubs. I bought the Acer's and love them. they hit hte ball 10 yards farther then my old clubs and I really can't hit a bad shot. I have a great ball trajectory now. I have friends who have really nice clubs and they all want mine. These are great clubs that you can't go wrong with.

Absolutly amazing clubs. I was looking for new irons and I went to Golf Town to try some out. I hit the Callaway Fusions and i absolutly loved them. However, they were 1400$ (CAN) regular price. My friend recommended that I try the clone club to the Fusion, which was the Acer XP Hollowcore. The Hollowcore's go just as far as the Fusions, have amazing feel, and are very easy to hit. The amazing thing is that i paid $1000 less then the Fusions and tbere is absolutly no difference. I would DEFINATLY recommend these clubs to anyone who happens to be interested in the Callaway Fusions.

These are Gigagolf purchased Acer Hollowcore Irons 4-SW with TrueTemper Standard shafts and the tour velvet midsized grips. I took the clubs out to the driving range today for the first time. These clubs are +1/2 long and adjusted for my height and swing. The first club I tried was the 7 iron. I was hitting the ball about 150 to 160 yards. Not much difference in distance from my old set however I couldnt hit the ball badly. If I hit on the toe of the club or on the heel of the club I still ended up with a reasonably straight shot. I was able to move the ball pretty well in either direction and was having a ball hitting my 4 iron as I normally sliced that club so badly I never hit it. Im pretty pleased, I was hitting the 4 iron about 220 yrds and thats awesome.

The workmanship is top rate, the appearance of the clubs is great. The Gigagolf guys called when they were out of the shafts I had ordered and subbed a better shaft than I had ordered. The guy asked while he had me on the phone if he minded if he looked over my order and asked me a few questions. After talking with him I had a much better feel that he knew what I was after and what I needed. He told me they would be ready and the end of the day and would ship them the following morning. The service from these guys was great and the order and equipment was exactly as advertised. I will deal with them again.

Callaway Fusions

Did some research on shafts that best fit my golf swing and had these custom made with Graffalloy ProLite R flex with Winn Grips. For those who don't know, these are Callaway Fusion clones. I really like the look and the feel of these clubs. They produce a nice high trajectory with plenty of backspin. For me, they produce a very straight shot pattern with low dispersion. Distance is the same as all the other clubs I've ever played and I like that.
