Just bought a Yonex biam super a.d.x driver on ebay, in fact, i purchased two of them. They're going so cheap now people are almost giving them away...??? Very strange, to me Yonex makes some of the nicest clubs out there, from the older adx composite woods all the way back to their early models, the corbonex22. I'm 52 years old and will play these clubs the rest of my life. The craftsmanship, look, balance and feel are excellent. I hit my Yonex 3 wood as far as most people hit their expensive driver, with a nice controlled draw or fade, people look at my club with a strange look on their face... Yonex?? Do yourself a favor and pick up a couple of these older Yonex clubs and give them a try, I don't think you'll regret it.

The older Yonex clubs are subject to wear but can be reconditioned.

There is a very good consistancy with the above listed lofts. The Rock-Solid feel & Sound of Yonex.

The Clear, Crisp "Tink" sound of these heads is recognized as all of its own & theres nothing out there that duplicates the sound of the Super ADX.

They say that this technology is long faded away due to the current design of driver heads...I am not totally sold on that thought.

Before the oversizing of the heads took off, the Super ADX was a smaller package that still packs a punch. Although, the sweetspot is the size of a quarter the distance is still impressive.

The 3w of this model, I just could'nt adopt to the design of the head...it just appeared to be too large of a face for a 3 wood, good off the tees, but, from the deck...very difficult to gain confidence...like hitting a driver off the fairway.

The 9w is still very effective in design...it will get you out of any jungle with real good results.

The drawback is that the base edge is just too sharp to be able to hit on wet conditions and should your contact be a tad fat...your going to lift up turf before the ball & then there goes your distance.

Even after 26+ years, there has not been one company that duplicates the sound of the Yonex Super ADX.

I have used this club for four years and have not been let down. If i had a choice af any driver it would be the super adx

This may be the best 3 wood on the market. I'm only 16, so my swing can be pretty inconsistent sometimes, but this doesn't really affect how I hit this club. I hit this club 220-240 even on a bad day. You don't have to hit this club right on the screws to get it out there. Very forgiving. I tried this club out with the original Yonex shaft and was suprised how well it felt. I decided to go one step further and reshaft it. Wow! Unreal! If you can get your hands on one of these don't hesitate to pick it op.

This is a steel clubhead, with the Yonex PPS shaft. Excellent golf club. Yonex makes the best OEM shaft in the business, which is the main reason Mickelson plays them. Very light club, but with a swingweight of D7. Like hitting a wrecking ball. Good looking club, too. Gear effect is good. Distance is excellent. Increased my drives 10-15 yards. You don't have to swing hard to go long and straight with this club. Best value out there at less than $200 U.S. Only negatives are that the grip is sub-standard (although it is a 22 gram "light grip, so if you replace, get the same weight) and the sound the club makes at contact is high-pitched and tinny. Despite this the feel is good. You know where you missed it.

I THINK THE YONEX DRIVER IS REALLY CRAP BECAUSE IT IS REALLY HARD TO CONTROL SO THE BALL IS REALLY OFF TARGET ALL THE TIME. THE ONLY THING GOOD ABOUT IT IS THAT IT GOES REALLY LONG IF YOU HIT DOWN THE MIDDLE AND THAT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU'VE HIT IT A MILE EVERY TIME.

Great woods for a beginner. Tremendous performance of the tee and correct mis-hits like no other woods. Lightweight yet packs lots of power for a straight and accurate shot.

i think these irons have the same feel of the mizuno mp29 but offer forgiveness in pressure situations. hey these won the masters, british, the open, and second place by one shot in pga.
