Love the 5 wood and 7 wood. 3 wood is great sometimes....not as consistent as the others. Nice match to the DD5. Why people buy the latest models, I will never understand. The technology on anything less than 10 years old is comparable, unless you need something adjustable.

AWESOME! Best fairway wood out there!

I recently decided to get a 5 wood, as I never carried one in my bag previously. For the past 2-3 weeks, I've spent hours at my local pro shop hitting everything from Cleveland, Ping, TM, and Callaway, just could not make a clear decision. Well long story short I was loading my bag this morning for a round with the fellas, when I noticed IU was running low on golf balls, so I needed to stop at Golf Galaxy on the way to the course to pick up a few dozen NXT's. I was a bit early for my tee time so i decided to take a look around, thats when I found this club, sitting in one for their clearance bins. I was skepical of the price It was in the same bin as some no name clubs and some RAM fairway woods, I assumed it had to be a mistake, and someone must have left it in that bin, so i asked the salesman who was making his round to check on the price for me.. To my suprise he came back and said it was indeed $19.95.. I decided to hit a few, and wow i was very suprised with the results. The ball really flys off this thing, I hit 5-6 balls very long and straight as can be. I decided it was a no brainer @ $20 for this club brand new, so i took it out and hit the ball very well on the course, a definate steal of a deal.

Wow-this thing leaps right off the face. If you miss it, it's not that great, but if you hit it right on, add about 15 yards to your current 5 wood distance. A great club, considering you can find them for under $100 new. I got mine from my golf course for $50 used.

Two weeks agao I switched from playing right handed to left handed. Long story, but not as hard as it sounds as I played baseball/software for years and batted left. Yet I am right handed, although this feels natural. But I digress...

My FWC 5 arrived the morning before my second round of playing left handed (I was at the range a few times already with my Slinshots getting the Iron game going). I took the plastic off on the first tee. I was nervous, but thanks to the golf Gods, I hit it straight down the middle around 200. My next shot I took out my new secret weapon and was next to the green, which was about 185. "Tears came to my eyes."

I love this club. And my next tee shot was the same, down the middle and with a nice sweet sound to boot.

These clubs are pretty and instill confidence, good off the tee and off the fairway, hell I'd putt with it if I could.

Right handed I used Wilson Deep Red II Tour Drives and Fairway woods. I don't know about their Irons, but the top of the line wilson woods are truly valu for money.

One of the best fairway foods I've ever used. The only one I like more is the Cleveland Launcher 3 wood (not the 5 wood, couldn't hit that thing nearly as well as the 3 wood). The FWC has great feel, great distance, is very forgiving, and looks good too. Wilson did a great job with their clubs in 2005. I also own a DD5 which has been spectacular for me. This fairway wood is one that you will not have a problem with picking it off of the fairway. Some of the newer fairway woods coming out are impossible to hit off of the fairway because there is no edge on the bottom of the club. They are fairway woods meant to hit off of the tee if you have control issues with the driver. This FWC club solves both problems. It is a very nice looking club. Also, the shaft is a great stock shaft. It is a Grafalloy Nanotech shaft similar in profile to the Prolite with some additions/modifications done by Wilson I think. You can get these for relatively cheap now. I paid $35 dollars for mine. I would really recommend this club. My SS is around 95-100mph with a quicker tempo. I'd recommend getting a regular flex shaft if you have a swing similar to mine. I would also recommend getting a regular flex shaft for the DD5 if you are looking at that, too. I have trouble loading my stiff flex DD5 at times even with a moderate/quick tempo and 95-100mph ss.
