I absolutly love the look of this 3 wood, that is half the battle in golf. When you like the look of a club it gives you confidence to make a good swing. While I have the midsize version is it still a tiny head, just a little deeper then the regular. In terms of performence, when you hit it solid it feels like nothing else. I love hitting low bullets with my 3 wood, excellent off the tee on a shorter par 4. You can work the ball extremely well with this club. Customer Service No problems at all with Titleist service. I really like the compact head and the deep face on this club, it really isn't that hard to hit either if you are a good ball striker either! Also this thing can really launch, I had a 980f strong proto before this with a penley stealth 70 and this club with a steel shaft launches it way past it! I got this club off ebay a couple weeks ago with the aldila NV shaft in it and absolutley love it. The club feels incredible when you pure it and gives great feedback. It is by far they best looking club at address on the market. The trajectory it provides is exactly what you want for a 3 wood, something that comes of low-mid and rolls ten yards after it lands. With this club it has changed my strategy for playing my course as I hit 3 wood now on holes where I would always hit driver. If you want a 5 wood go with the 980f, but this is the best 3 wood out there Customer Service none Similar Products Used: taylor made v steel and 200 steel, titleist 975 f |

All i can say is wow. I got one of these off eBay after hearing that tiger and davis play it. This wood is incredible, the feel is solid as anything i've ever hit before. Dont settle for the new titleist 980F series because this club totally outdoes them in distance, feel, control, workability. The ball flight is low-mid but can easily be hit high if needed. The club just looks nice looking at it and standing over it which makes me confident that im going to hit a good shot. Great club Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Cleveland Quadpro, The Woodge, Titleist 975F and 980F |

The most pronounced difference you'll notice with this club over other clubs is its small size and its feel. It has incredible feel. It's like playing blades. Off center hits give you feedback and allow you to make corrections. Sweet spot hits feel very rewarding. Don't think you won't be able to hit it. If you can hit fairway metals, you can hit this club. It is not difficult to hit. Incidentally, I would recommend that you don't go lower than the 15 degree. Theres a reason why the pros seem to choose this club in 15 degrees. True, the 13 degree will hit very long but so will the 15 degree. The 15 degree is more controllable but is still very long. You stand a better chance of stopping the ball on the green with the 15 than the 13. Finally, the 15 degree naturally hits more like a 13 degree anyway because of its boring trajectory resulting from the dimensions and weighting of the club. It is long and workable and has near driver distance off the tee. It's trajectory is more of a boring trajectory, hence the name, "pro trajectory." It is very controllable. Very pleasing appearance at address. Hit it and you'll understand why it is still the choice of several pros although it is extinct. It is a very enjoyable club to hit. I found mine at Golfsmith and bought it for only $52.00 but there were a couple of blemishes on it, probably from banging against other clubs. Otherwise, you can pick these up rather inexpensively and I would recommend to anybody that they do. It's kind of nice knowing that you are hitting the same club Tiger is hitting. You get to feel what he feels like and you get to see the things Tiger is able to do with your club. Finally, this club feels solid and you know that from the first time you flush it. Also, the off center hits don't give that unstable feeling you get with other 3 woods and it corrects very well. Not only does it feel solid, it just looks solid. It's kind of like purchasing an old home. Long ago, houses were made with top quality materials because the cheap materials weren't even available yet. Now, too much of a premium is placed upon using cheaper less expensive materials in an effort to maximize profit. Customer Service I doubt anybody will break this club, except for maybe the shaft and I'll reshaft it myself. Titleist PT 13
The PT 13 is the best fairway metal wood ever - period. I owned one of the originals back in the early 90's and foolishly sold it so that I could "move up" to titanium. What a mistake. I finally got sick of the titanium balloon on a stick and bought a 2001 model bore-thru PT 13 last year. Hard to believe, but it is even better than the original! More stability and consistency along with slightly lower ball flight, plus the incredible feel of the original PT. I rarely carry a driver these days, as a well struck tee shot with the PT 13 will easily carry 260+ yards. If you have a decent amount of swing speed and aren't intimidated by the relatively small size of the clubhead, this club should be in your bag. It's not nearly as hard to hit as you might think. You can feel that sweetspot (small though it may be) throughout your swing, something that's completely missing with oversized clubs. The center of the clubface just seems to want to find the back of the ball on the downswing. I have also added a bore-thru PT 15 to my arsenal recently. It's much easier to hit off the deck (particularly from a tight lie) than the 13 and is extrememly reliable off the tee. If you're not using one of these, you have no idea what you're missing! Customer Service N/A. None ever needed. These clubs are indestructible. Similar Products Used: Ping, Callaway, Taylor Made, none can compare. |

I have to say that this is the best 3 wood i have ever hit. I have tried to hit this club in the past but had bad results, but not that I'm a little older, I hit hit it good. It feels so pure when you hit it and it feels solid. Some people told me that this club was the hardest club to ever hit, but I cvan hit it good, and if you're a strong player, you can hit it too. I am very happy with it Similar Products Used: Titleist 975F |
