This club is decent. The distance you'll get from the #2 16 degree loft should be between 200-230. However,I recommend going with the steel shaft for more control. The graphite shaft feels too whippy! You'll save $30 and be less aggravated. You really don't need this club if you can hit a 2-3 iron. Taylor Made Rescue 16 #2
This is a great club. I hit long irons pretty well but they cannot compare with this club for consistency, feel and accuracy. This is a great club for tight holes and tee shots. A well struck ball will go over the 230 and even out to the 240 mark. After buying this club, I don't carry either my 3 or 5 woods which allows room in my bag for another wedge. I plan on buying both the 19 and 22 degree models and doing away with any irons below my 6 iron. Customer Service Not needed. Similar Products Used: None |

Taylor Made Resuce Mid 22*
The rescue Mid is a great club. I have the 22* graphite. It has replaced my 3,4 irons and at least for now my 7 wood. I am getting 190-220 yards. Very easy to hit. Very straight. |

Rescue Mid #2
I recently bought a driver (a Cobra SS430 Unlimited) and while it is indeed a good club, I have no confidence in using it off the tee (it's intended purpose). My iron shots are OK and so I've been using my 3 & 4 irons off the tee because they allow me a bit of consistency off the tee. Having read the reviews of the Rescue Mid (on this site and in magazines) I went and tried them out at American Golf Discount which fortunately has a good driving range. As I was looking for something off the tee (mainly for when my driving ability deserts me) I opted to try the #2 and the #3. Both were fantastic, but I eventually went for the #2. The #3 gave longer distance than my 3 iron and the trajectory was a little higher too, but the #2 was exactly what I was looking for. Because the Rescue's set up is more like an iron than a wood then I found it to be more receptive to my swing. Even more surprising was the fact that I could hit it off the mat just as well as off a tee (medium hight). This is a double bonus for me. I have no fears in taking a long iron off the fairway, but in the rough the task is a little more daunting. I don't posses a fairway wood, and I don't think I need one now. Good off the fairway, great off the tee! Superb! Customer Service Great as ever |

RaylorMade Rescue Mid #3 with an R80 flex graphite shaft.
This club is everything the manufacturer says it would be and more. It is both powerful, accurate and very easy to hit. From the tee, the fairway or the rough it launches the ball effortlessly and on line. On a very tight (trees left and water right) 390 yard par 4 I hit the Rescue Mid "twice" and was on the dance floor in 2 putting for a birdie. (This was a new feeling for me, as I most often find trouble on the way to the green on tight holes. ) I felt that with an easy smooth swing I could just hit the ball straight and long all day. I guess the best thing about this club is that if I used it early on hole I didn't need to "rescued" at all. If you like long straight and high shots this clubs for you. I plan to add the Rescue Mid #5 to replace my 4 and 5 irons. Customer Service Not neede to date. Similar Products Used: Sanke Eyes Quick Strike, Original TM Rescue Club, |

Taylor Made Rescue Mid #5 (25*)
This is a terrific club. I bought the 25* #5 model to fit the gap between 6 iron and my Cobra #7 wood. Very forgiving and easy to hit, much easier than the 5 iron. The ball flies long with a moderately high trajectory. Similar Products Used: Golfsmith Snake Eyes Quickstrike |

TaylorMade Mid Rescue
Its to bad that a few reviews have to ruin shut a great club. Don't let these reviews fool you these driving irons are awesome. During the PGA Colonial Tournament 28 TaylorMade Rescue Mid's where introduced that week. That is a fact, you can go look at club stats yourself. I bought the 22 degree model and replaced my 7 wood. I can hit it around 210 to 230. The reason I like it better then my Callaway 7 wood is that it feels like an iron, but with a forgivness of a wood. My 7 wood doesn't have that iron control. Try hitting a 3 iron out of some light rough, CAN't DO It. These clubs are so eady to hit in and out of the rough, their beautiful. Great club, coming from someone who has only bought Titleist over the last 4 years. |

This is a major let down, the head feels as though it is falling of during the down swing, and the shaft is so whippy even in a stiff flex. Save your money and by a V wood.. Customer Service Not used |

All-around great club! Worth every retail cent! I can hit with confidence, almost all shots, very forgiving. I'm using as a replacement for 2,3 & 4 irons, at times a fairway wood, as a driver for medium par 3 holes, using for "bump & role" near the green. I'm very happy with this all-around utility club. Great for a high handicap golfers still learning the art of the swing! Customer Service Not applicable. Similar Products Used: Controller Fairway driving iron. Spalding 3 Woods, other nock-offs... |
