Taylor Made Rescue Mid
To yand, Shoots in the 70s You should sell this - this is NOT a club for anyone who plays blades or no offset. Use either Rescue TP version or Ben Hogan CFT. These have no offsets - you just have wrong club. However, the topping the ball is a hole in your swing. There is no justification for it - beyond your obvious hatred for TM. Anger management + switch to Tour Preferred (TP) version will do wonders. I also had same prob with hooking this club, when I borrowed from a friend, but recognize obvious benefit. So, I tried both TP and CFT in a proshop. Both did well as long as I kept reminding myself -> "this is NOT a wood and it is an iron." This is very important for shooting these. You cannot sweep across and must tone down your hands. Easy + accurate swing only. Everyone seems to have same prb at first as sweeping produces low trajectory and nasty hook even on TP. I decided to save $70 bucks and sticks to Hogan. I also love being able to hit tricky chip shots around the green. Customer Service Good. I get a new club everytime I kill one, but not excellent -> no cover. Similar Products Used: Ben Hogan CFT & TM rescue Tour Preferred |

Taylor Made Rescue 3 stiff
I really like this club even with the stock shaft. I bought this little guy on e bay for $90 and am very happy with it. It is supposed to replace the 3 iron, but I actually hit it further than my mizuno MP-33 3 iron. I fills in the gap between my 3 wood and my 3 iron very nicely. I am looking to buy the rescue 5 as replacement for my 3 and 4 irons. A nice easy swing for me will produce a mid ball flight about 230 yards. Harder swings will cause a draw but I feel that has more to do witht the stock shaft. I actually hit my Orlimar 16 deg fairway wood higher than the 19 deg 3 rescue but it is much easier to hit than the Mizuno blade and that is where it earns its keep. I have used it to pop the ball off the fringe and roll it to the hole but that shot takes practice and I need more of that. Overall it is worth adding to your bag and will make those 220-240 par threes a little more managable. Customer Service No problems with the club. Very well made Similar Products Used: None |

Can't understand the negative reviews.....obviously these guys are too good (perhaps better than the likes of Retief Goosen!)to play these excellent clubs. Name "Rescue" doesn't do them justice as they are terrific off tee, fairway, out of rough and around greens for bump and runs. I've replaced all fairway woods and 3 & 4 iron with the 2, 3 & 4 models and have achieved a very good level of consistency in the areas that the majority of golfers find most difficult. In addition to the confidence these clubs give, their flexibility has allowed me to carry an additional wedge in the bag which helps save shots in the "scoring zone" of the game. Seriously, some other reviewers have probably not found them beneficial and everyone is entitled to their opinion........however, my advice would be not to ignore what is probably the fastest growing equipment area of the game and go demo these terrific clubs!! Rescue Mid 2 iron stiff steel
This is absolute crap. A waste of money. I purchased 2 hybrid off ebay and selling them off in 1 week time.. got so pissed with this stupid thing.. I cant seem to hit this one. I used a mizuno mp32 2 iron blade and I can get that baby airborne nice and LONG. Weird? Yeah.. And the feel is dead. With this taylormade crap, I often toped it or hooked it. This is due to the offset made and an extreme close clubface (offset + closed club = big draw). For accomplished player big draw + big draw = dead hook! If you people intend to be a crippled person forever, get this thing. it will help to cover off your shame of slicing a long iron. But for those of you who really honest and want to improve your game, throw this into the bin. I just used this for 2 weeks and I got so angry that I almost bang the head off the ground! Note that it has a strong face angle (2 iron is usually 19 deg, TM made it 16 deg). For 3 iron standard is 22' and TM made it 19 degree (standard 2 iron). This is to fake you guys to believe that it is actually loonngg.. Please please weekend golfers don't be fooled by TM. what they are good at is marketing!!! They make you keep on buying their stuff by saying they have improved over their line bla bla bla... Look closer at their line of product! A new driver is introduced every 6 months. ABSOLUTE CRAP! Honestly, I despise taylormade stuff! Customer Service Don't need and don't care! Their product stinks.. Similar Products Used: Ben hogan hybrid! Use this one folks! it Rocks + it is forged! And it did not lie to you about the loft! :) |

I had heard enough hype about "hybrids" that I finally decided to try one. I have been playing golf since I was a kid and the only other "hybrid" that I had ever seen was the old Cobra Baffler. It was just an awful club, so I was gunshy. I wish I would not have been. I have never really had problems hitting long irons, but I was looking for something that I could hit off the tee and from a variety of lies. This thing does it. I can hit it from sidehill lies, hardpan, rough. Basically anywhere! This club bridges the gap between my long irons and my 3 wood. They make other lofts, so I guess they could be long iron replacements as advertised. I've seen a lot of pros chipping with it. I decided to try it and it works very well. A pinched chip has a tendency to check up way short of the hole, but this just bumps it up onto the green and the ball just rolls. Works pretty good! All in all, this is probably the most versatile club on the market today. It really works. I can't say that about all clubs, but this one really does work as claimed. If someone is needing to replace long irons, try this out. If someone is looking for a versatile club to hit off the tee and from a variety of lies like I was, check this thing out. I doubt you will be disappointed! Customer Service Never used Taylormade customer service. Similar Products Used: Never used a "hybrid" type club before this one. |

TM Rescue Mid 4
I have had this club in my bag now for over 2 months, I purchased it along with a new set and it perfectly replaces a 3iron. While I did have to swallow some pride to get a "rescue club", it has turned out to be one of the best purchases I have made. My mates gave me a hard time for the first few times I pulled it out but soon went quiet after seeing it consistently fly 200m and stop like a 9 iron. The best thing about this club is how versatile it is for different shots anywhere from 200m to 150m, it won't be long before long irons are a thing of the past for the weekend hacker. I can't hit a 2 or 3 iron at all. I tried this club and consistently hit it 200-210 yards and straight. Where have your been? This club may not be for everyone but if you have trouble hitting the low irons I certainly recommend trying this club. I'm going to buy the Rescue Mid 3 and take my 2 & 3 iron and 3 and 5 wood out of my bag. This club rocks! Customer Service Never used Similar Products Used: None |

These make golf much easier. I've finally begun to crack the 70's and these clubs are part of the reason. I have the 3 and 4 in stiff graphite and am very pleased with the distance, ball flight, and consistency I get from them. This translates into confidence. These clubs are superior to fairway woods both off the tee and from the fairway/rough. Good trouble clubs too. Far more consistent and accurate. They are not as accurate as my irons, but the consistency and length you get from them make 2 and 3 irons obsolete for all but the best players. TM Rescue Mid # 4 Reg Steel
Was looking for a club for those 180-200 yard par 3's and approaches. Picked the "4" up to replace my 3-iron and the difference in forgiveness is unbelievable. Trajectory is higher/much higher when played from the same ball position as my 3-iron. Ball flight was either dead straight or a slight draw. Keep in mind I have a tendency to hit a bit of a fade with my mid to long irons. But no matter how bad a swing I made with this club the ball would not fade. I would push it out to the right of the target about 10-15 yards on my worst swings but there was no shape in the ball flight. Also, even though I have had only one range visit with it I found it quite easy to move the ball back or forward in my stance to control the trajectory. Other reviews were accurate about the club being about 10-15 longer. Get the TM rescue 4 to replace your 3-iron and so on. Great club, well worth the $150.00 Canadian I spent on it.
