Firesole Driver 9.5 Stiff
Just received this club a little while ago and went to the range for 2 times only. But initial impression is not as well as I hope to be. Maybe I am not used to the LONGER shaft length which is an inch longer than my previous one. Very far definitely, quite straight but not VERY forgiving. I hit straighter shots (almost dead straight) with my old driver though shorter. If you guys have the dough, go to some asian golf shops and try out the Japanese made Honma driver, they are expensive.. but they are both long and accurate. I purchased this Firesole driver after many years using the TM Midize2 driver. The ball rockets of the club face. Using the graphite shaft, you have to be careful of not over-swinging, as the shaft tends to be too far behind your hands. An excellent club over all. Firesole 3W, steel, stiff
My Firesole 3W is one of my favorite clubs. Light and easy swinging, excellent distance, great impact feel, a joy to hit. Glides thru any fairway/light-rough lie beautifully. Easy to control fade/draw even off fairway lies. Had to upgrade my older driver after getting this club, because the yardages were the same. Strangely, I didn't get the same good feel from the Firesole driver and went with a Titleist 975D instead. Similar Products Used: Wilson RAM (older set), Adams, Callaway |

This is a tremendous club. You just need to make sure you're fitted with the right shaft. Originally, I was looking for a shaft similar to the SHV which is not available to the public. A pro said the SHV shaft was similar to the XS-100. What a mistake! I traded in the XS-100 for the S-90 and what a difference. I went from duck hooks with the XS-100 to booming drives with the S-90. The 3 Strong Wood is also an excellent club. Both the driver and 3 Wood tested better for me than the Titleist 975D Driver and 12.5 degree 3 Wood. I found the Firesoles easier to hit and much better feeling than the 975D. Hal Sutton says he gained five yards driving distance by switching to the Firesole. They pointed me in the right direction on shaft selection Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, Adams 818SC, Callaway Steelhead |

I tried the 8.5 deg. driver and didn't find it to be as long as my current driver. I have the strong 3 & the 5 wood and they are very easy to hook and I am not especially enamored with the sound they make either. Similar Products Used: Mizuno T-Zoid fairway woods - these are very solid. |

I played with the original Ti Bubble for a long time and it took a lot to make me switch. I don't really hit this driver with perfect contact than I did the original. The real difference comes when I hit an off-center shot. With the original an off-center shot cost me about 20-30 yards(or worse), but I really have to miss with this club to make a big difference. I have tried many drivers and this is the best I have hit. Similar Products Used: Callway Hawkeye & Great Big Bertha, Ti Bubble 2(which absolutely is the worst club I ever hit), 975D, Adams SC |

This is an excellent driver with an awesome feel and a superlative shaft(Bubble 2). I never had the smooth feel and excellent drive like I have on this one. I bought a GBB Hawkeye first but the feel just wan't right. Didn't like the headshape and esp. the shaft(bored into the clubhead). Felt somewhat flimsy as if it is gonna break apart anytime. TM excelled in coming out with this driver and I am now driving in the 260-280 yd range(used to drive 200-220). This driver is awesome for high handicappers, just the way the club feels and not to be left out, it drives. Similar Products Used: GBB Hawkeye, BB Steelhead, Titleist 975D |

WOW! What an amazing ""weapon"" to have in my bag. I found this club especially easy to hit...and the results were spectacular. The flight path of the ball was always high and very straight. I crushed a 313 yard drive on the 3rd hole of my round (I normally drive the ball 265-280)!!! I am usually pretty skeptical about manufacturers using ""gimmicks"" to sell products, but found this Tungsten plug business and bubble shaft to make a noticeable difference in the swing and feel of the club. $299...what a great price, too! I don't know how Taylor Made is going to top this one next year. Similar Products Used: I tried the new Big Bertha Driver. I felt like I was swinging a wet piece of spaghetti with a meatball tied to the end. |

This wood is supposed to provide a low boring trajectory but that can't be accomplished if the darn thing can't hit a solid shot. I have hit probably 1000 balls with it and I have hit about 50 soild. Mind you when you hit it you hit it. And it is not me because all of my friends that are pros say the exact same thing. Similar Products Used: None |

Fantastic club. I am hitting the ball farther and straighter than I ever have. I can swing as hard as I can, and it still goes straight. Large sweet spot. I hit apr. 20 yards further than my old driver. 280-290 yard drives not uncommon now, whereas I used to hit apr. 250 yards most of the time. The ball leaves the club like a rocket.
