I found the taylor made driver hard to hit at first but then when I caught it right the ball went for miles. I have found the clubs an excellent buy. Especially the 5 wood off the fairway I can hit it brilliantly although I find the ball difficult to get high in the air.

I just got this driver through eBay for only $200, new! I hit this driver more consistently than any other that I've demoed. Usually I'm lucky to roll 230 yards at a time, now I'm landing there and rolling 250+. It's stable, forgiving, easy to line up, and sounds great. I've hit the Supersteel too with the 1" shorter shaft, but never got the line and constistency of the Firesole.
The Supersteel fairway woods, however, are my next major purchase. The Firesoles aren't as easy to get off the ground as I had hoped. The Supersteel fairway woods have larger sweet spots.

I'm a true believer and fan of Taylor Made clubs!

At first this driver just seemed straight without much distance. But now that I swing smoothly it produces a nice high ball flight which rolls like hell. Very long drives with little effort!! And it's far cheaper than the Hawk eye. And for those of us who hook the ball, the Hawk eye is hell

I switched from the TiBubble. This was the most disappointing driver I have ever hit. It makes a dull thud. No matter how square the ball is hit, distance is disappointing. Unless I'm missing something, TM missed the boat on this thing. I've gone back to a stainless Bubble Burner 2 driver.

The club is very forgiving, however no matter how you hit it, it sounds like a "TIN CAN". I like the feel but can't get use to the sound. I went back to the burner.

Big High Hooks!!I broke my Ti2 and since they are out of production TM replaced it with a firesole{GREAT WARRANTY}These new R80 Shafts are softer than the originals were! Try a R90 if you normally use a reagular flex.A great looking club but I was not happy with it.Traded it in for a 975D.Try it as it is not a peice of junk either, you may like it.

This driver takes a little while to get used to but be patient. When you start hitting it you will not believe how much distance you get with this club. My drives have improved 20-25 yards from the Taylor Made Ti Bubble 1 driver.

I don't like this club at all...Its way too shallow for a 3 wood, and it sounds like a big "bong" when you hit it, I don't get any distance, and the shafts are too flimsy, I wouldn't reccomend this club, get a Tight Lies 2 for the same price.

I can't find anything really good to say about the club. With very good contact I can get average distances but nothing within 20 yards of the old Killer Whale (woriginal Firestick) I had and that club was king of the dull thud drivers.

Good contact with the TM sounds and feels dead. My belief is that its in the shaft, mine is a s-90. Something in the hossle through about 6 inches above isn't working and also above the bubble. The club almost feels to have high and low kick points.

If it happens to break I won't be too dissapointed. I'm ready to try the clubhead matched with a $12 Steel Rifle shaft.

Finally, for those looking into the TM Fireole 3 & 5, check out the Dynacraft Copperhead CU's first. The metallic copper coating on the top of the club head will chip away but for $17 per clubhead and $12 for a good steel shaft, those clubs will hit better, sound better and drive the ball farther than their $200+ TM counterparts.

Model Reviewed: TM Strong 3 Firesole

In the past few months, I've had problems off of the tee. I was hitting a Callaway Big Bertha 4 wood (as I had trouble with direction with the driver), but then I invested in a TM Strong 3, and the bottom line is that I am extremely happy with it. It's easy to work the ball in either direction and gives me anywhere from 230 to 250 or so off the tee. Out of the fairway, it's a joy. Same results--easy to hit, easy to work, easy to get to ball airborne. I highly recommend this club to anyone who has had trouble (like I used to) with direction control with their woods. The only possible negative item of this club would be, and this is quite immaterial, but it makes a 'wood block' type of sound when hit. It's not annoying or anything like that, but it does take a few shots to get used to it. Thanks.
