i think that this club is a great club for golfers of all ages, i am 16 years old and i think that it is the best three wood i have ever hit. i strongly suggest those who already have a grooved swing to try it out. |

SS-01 17° 4 Wood w/Penley Stiff
Purchased this club to replace an older Orlimar 17°. After hitting this club on the range, it was evident that I was hitting this club longer than my 3 wood. Ball flight is low, peaking near the end of the shot with little roll. Perfect for narrow fairways and 2nd shots into long par 5s. The stock shot is a gentle draw, changing ball position and cutting the ball a little gives a nice fade. The only real problem is hitting from a fluffy lie with the ball up a bit. The shallow face is better for tighter lies. Very long and without question the most solid feeling fairway wood I have ever hit. Customer Service Haven't used. I took this baby out this weekend for the first time. I would say that this is not the easiest club to hit. The feel is solid when a sweeping swing is used with a slight metallic sound, off of short fairway grass. You will find that a good swing will produce very long shots and get a tremedous roll after landing. The head seems to drive into the ball causing it to really jump off the face. Hitting shot off of longer grass is difficult. Golfers that are use to pan-caking their swings, may find themselves comming under the ball in fluffy lies, causing a pop-up. The face is very shallow and unforgiving. Most shots shots have low flying trajectory, even for a 13 degree. For tee shots, tee very low, make a good swing, and you'll be rewarded with a long boring shot that will roll forever. The longest I produced off a tee this weekend was around 270 yards carry and roll distance. Most were only 250 yards. Fairly easy to work a draw Harder to work a fade. Deffinitely, not a club for the beginner. Customer Service Not needed Similar Products Used: Mizuno Forged Utility Wood 13* Bazooka 13* |

I have read alot about this club and tried one out into the net at the golf expo. It just felt great. I was at the driving range a hour later. I hit about a dozen shots with this club and would have been satisfied with any of them on the course both from a tee and off the ground. The distance was great but I could not get a specific distance because of shade and sun. But they were all better than I get with other clubs I tried. I cant wait to play around and will look into the other sonatec clubs. I will check back later with a update. Customer Service no experience yet. good sale.
