best 3 wood by far i have ever played. very very comfortable at address, and very forgiving. easy to hit off of any lie. length is awesome, 10 yards further than my other callaway steelhead 3 woods. a little pricy, but it's worth it if you can spare a little more. |

Ping Ti3
The first shot with this Ti3 last year, when I went to South carolina hooked 40 yards; the 2nd hooked 60 yards; the 3rd hooked 2 fairways over. Distance was poor due to constant duck hooks. I quit playing the club immediately so as not to ruin my golf vacation and I got tired of walking to the next fairway. Later that spring, the Ping rep gave a an X-stiff 2 degree flat - better but still hooked. Unfortunately, I developed a slice with my driver due to compensating for the Ti3 and nearly messed my game up for good. If you get the right setup - for me perhaps 1 degree flat + 1 degree open - it could be great with a standard stiff shaft. At 300-400 dollars to make the change - I traded it in on new irons that I tested first. My old 3-wood Callaway Warbird is back in the bag for next year. I should have kept it all along - one of the better fairway clubs going. I will get a square face next club and test it first before paying 600.00. The standard setup Ti3 is designed for golfers with huge slice issues - not good golfers. Any stronger golfer who draws will hook really bad. Ping gets lots of complaints on the ti3 for hooking. The rep understood my issue immediately based on the number of complaints. If you''re a duffer with a chronic slice, it''s good for you. If you already draw, get out of here. None I have the x-stiff shaft. This is a great club. It gives such confidence. You know right away if you did something wrong. The accuaracy and feedback that it gives is the best I''ve encountered to date. Get it and you won''t ever regret. Customer Service none as of yet Similar Products Used: TM, Cal, Adams, Cleveland. |

Ping Ti I3 3 wood
Strength:
None
Weakness:
None The best 3 wood I have ever played. I have tried every brand name 3 wood and this is the best. I hit this almost as far as my Titleist 975J 8.5 driver. The newer 3 woods are smaller so higher handicappers can play them. A 3 wood now is the size of 5 woods a few years ago. It becomes harder to hit off the tee because they are smaller. This one is great off the ground or the tee. I can hit this 245-260 off the tee or the ground and hit it dead straight. This club is the real deal. If you haven''t tried one, DO IT NOW. I would pay $500 for this after playing with it. Similar Products Used: Any brand name with cost not an issue. Taylor Made, Mizuno, Callaway, Etc.. |

None I''ve been a Callaway fan since i started playing golf, but this club changed my perspective of what a fairway wood is. I''ve used Steelhead''s, Orlimar, Adams but the Ping Ti3 is easily the friendliest club to hit of the lot, especially from the fairway and in light rough. Its shallow face and low centre of gravity makes it easy to hit the ball high, and it is so workable off the tee. Highly recommended club!! Similar Products Used: None |

Absolutely the best 3 wood I have had the pleasure to hit. Great feel and exceptional distance. My bad shots are a pull or slight hook but those are swing related and not a result of the club design. The club is very easy to line up with its straight leading edge and helps me to avoid my tendancy to be aimed right when I think I am aligned straight. I will soon get the Ping 5 and 7 wood but will get the steel i-3 fairway wood because of price. Customer Service 800 phone customer service excellent but e-mail service now at 7 days for a response. Ping ti 3 wood
Had the Titleist 975F. It was a good, beautiful looking club, however, no great feeling. Need your A-game and in 2-3 inches of rough on the 15th it was a little diffcult. Ping, not a classic looking but gives great feed back and is forgiving. What a sound. I am not sure what PING have done yet it is self correcting. I do not use the driver as I have a Callaway with the Harrison Pro 3.5 shaft and do not believe that the difference is worth the price.I work a lot, play only once a month. Customer Service Slow but good. Ti3 14deg fairway wood
This is quite simply a splendid 3 wood. Shots fly off the face with an explosive sound and have an aggressive trajectory. Distances are quite amazing. Initially I found myself ferociously hooking nearly every shot and was about to sell the club when I decided to alter my grip from very strong to closer to neutral. Since then shots have been straight and long. Goes to show - no matter how good the club, won't fix a dud swing Similar Products Used: Callaway steelheads and big berthas |

Ti3 3-wd (14*) and 5-wd (17*)
Found the TiSi Driver last winter and loved it. When Ti3 came out got the 5-wood and it was hot. Impressive distance and accuracy (average 215-222). Was so pleased got the 3-wood. It is also a great performer. When playing long courses now carry TiSi driver and 5-Wood. When on tighter/shorter course carry only the 3 and 5 Wood. Bottomline before getting all these Ping Woods struggled to break 90 now consistently in 80's and have had six rounds in 70's since purchase!!! Similar Products Used: None compare because of Ti composition, construction design, back and sole weighting. Shaft shorter than one would expect but likely helps with control. |
