Nike VR-S Fairway 3 Wood
Found an almost new one of these much under-promoted clubs in a New Years day golf sale at a local driving range for £45. Had a few practice hits with face tape on and was really impressed, bought it and havent looked back. First round I played with it I was on the green in two on a long par five and last week nailed the pin from 229 yards out for a birdie putt. Very easy to hit off deck or tee. Fubuka regular shaft feels really flexy so I was concerned at first that it would trail and push the ball out right but it doesnt, whips into position nicely sending the ball straight. Good size head which is confidence inspiring and makes a beautiful noise when struck. Ive always been a taylormade, ping, callaway fan but do very much enjoy my first dabble in Nike.
