well i have had this club for around 3 months and i love it. Have developed 2 swings with it, one gives me a 200 yard high loft shot for going at greens and getting ut of rough easily. the other i can rip it off the fairway with no T for around 250 yards. its great to get that distance, perfectly straight and not even think twice about it. i am an excellent iron player and this club is my go to now for long shots and picks from the rough. Id play a much better game if i could get up and down around the green. do yourself a favor and atleast go demo it. you will not be disapointed.

Model Reviewed: Nike CPR 21-deg., Reg. shaft.

I bought this club based on the Golf Digest "Club of the Year" article. When I first took it to the range, I was hitting very nice, straight shots with it. But I found that the club just didn't really work for me on the course. I'm sure i'm not the only one who hits the ball better on the range anyway, but this club seems to require a very particular, "straight back and through" swing. Any variation and the ball would either hook wildly, or simply wouldn't "go". I recently replaced this club with the Ben Hogan CFT 21-degree, #3 (regular) shaft, and it's by FAR the better club for me. Much more consistent results. I'm sure the Nike is a good club; it just didn't fit my swing.

Never needed it.

This is a nice club all around. Ranked 2nd on the Golf Digest's Hot List, this club doesn't do to bad for itself. I am a junior golfer, but I still get substantial yardage from this thing. Thank god I do, I saved up 6 months for it. It is a little long for me, but for some reason, my pro tells me I can hit it and that I can use it. He usually tells me that my clubs are to long for me and always tells my mom that they are too. Once I wacked it 200 yards. That'll never happen again. This thing has a pretty big sweat spot considering its slender look. While on the topic of its look, this thing is hot. It gives you confidence at the address, which I have stated in my Big Bertha review, is extremely important. It gets you thinking possitavely, which takes away tension, which gives you a beautiful tempo and follow through. Im no teacher, but thats my theory. Easy to hit of the ground and in my opinion not as easy to hit of the tee. Once again, im just a junior.

They couldn't find a headcover fast enough, it took them like 30 minuets to find one

Even tough I hit my long irons well, I decided to replace my 2 iron with a hybrid. I really like this club because it is easy to hit and I hit it a little farther than I hit my 2 iron. I fell very confident hitting a 220yd shot with this club in my hand.

I was looking to update my arsenal and was looking at the Taylor Made Rescue club. I liked it, but "settled" on the Nike in order to save some money. I now feel I got all I could for less money The CPR has a shaft that is more of an iron length compared to a fairway wood. This fact leads to confidence and control versus longer shafted clubs. I do not know the swing weight, but the club feels heavy in the head. What that does for me is keep me aware of where the clubhead is during the swing, which has been great. This is a club where an easy swing that is focused on contact rather than power gives you a lot of distance for the effort. I hit this one up to 175 yards with not much effort. I have been amazed at how easy it is to trust the club to do the work. Only the worst of swings yields a negative result. I believe this club for players of all levels, but cannot stress enough that for the high handicap player how these belong in their bags instead of traditional 3 and 4 irons. If I had to use a three word description, it would be ease, distance, and accuracy. One final thought. The look is not very traditional. If this is important to you, you may need to look elsewhere, but I would advise to get over that. This club is money.

Got a good deal on the club it has a regular flex but i would rather have stiff..but oh well...the club is very good, for the money you simply cant go wrong..the club is great from the ruff, when the ball is sitting up this club just destroys it..im hitting this one about 200yards...its pretty acurate and has great ball flight, i would recomend this club to players of all skill levels, it just helps to make the game more easy which is never a bad thing.

Bought this club on ebay on a whim, took it out on the range and initially was very surprised. Although I hit my long irons fine, I'm not sure I will keep them in my bag after hitting this club. I hit it much higher than with my long irons; when I hit it sweet it feels like butter. The stiff shaft isn't stiff enough, I tend to hook occasionally, but this little bugger digs. I can sky it out of deep rough; try doing that with your 3 wood. I like it. I hit it farther and more straight than I do my long irons, so I'm sticking with it.

Customer Service

won't take stuff back and fix it like callaway or ping; they give you the old, "call the place you bought it from"

I love this club! I have the 18* and being a beginning golfer, I don't hit the long irons well. But this club makes it easy to cush one down the fairway out of the rough.

I really like this club. Although I hit my long irons fine, I have found use for this club out of the rough and from the fairway. I find I hit it really straight if not so long. It has a great feel when striking the ball, extremely smooth and absorbing. I really can say it's easy to hit nice shots with his club. I actually prefer it to the Taylor Made trouble club. Paid $70 on ebay, good deal

Beautiful club that feels like an extension of my arms when I swing it. Great feel, distance about a 3=4iron for me and fun to putt with from the fringe. Replaces a lot of effort to hit the normal iron well with a nice easy swing.
