None I agree with all of the positive reviews of this club. For the money, it is an excellent fairway wood. I don''t know why Nicklaus Golf Equipment doesn''t get talked up more. The stock graphite shaft is not the greatest in the world, so a custom order with the UST shaft might be the way to go. I reshafted mine with an Apache Micro58 (r-flex) and haven''t looked back. Airmax 3 with Bi-Matrix S shaft
I finally found a fairway wood I can smash!! The low center of gravity is what does it for me. From the takeaway, I know just where my club head is at. The Bi-Matrix shaft from True Temper is the best shaft I have ever used. Going to go to it in my driver. No torque on aggressive swings almost eliminated my slice. I have punched this club 250 yds many times. Althouth it lacks the favored high ping sound because of the metal type, it's got it's own unique sound that is distinctive when you connect right. Nicklaus Air Max 14 deg. w/UST Proforce 65 stiff
Went to a demo day at a local golf retailer with the intent of looking for a 3 wood. I hit everything by everybody. Passed by the Nicklaus rep. several times because I had no interest in their stuff. Finally, as my wife was trying something out next to the Nicklaus guy, I said what the "heck". I killed this thing. Workability is excellent, and ball flight with the UST stiff shaft is perfect, as well as the accuracy. I recommend these highly. Sometimes it pays to try equipment you would not normally consider. Customer Service Had to special order this because of the shaft and it took about 2 weeks Similar Products Used: Everything |

its a very solid club not the best wood i have ever hit but it was very good it would be better with a different shaft like a proforvce but overall it is very easy to hit and gets the ball in the air quit easily i like the low profile of the wood. Similar Products Used: None |
