Wow, what a club. This might be the most gorgeous fairway wood you''ve ever seen, and it has the performance to back it up. Club is nice and heavy which strong players will prefer. Ball flight is hot and searing, and the sweet feel of the forged face is unlike any other fairway wood I''ve hit. For $99, this club is an absolute steal; hurry before they''re all gone.

I am very impress with the distance I get with a good hit on this club. I hit beautiful 240 yard fades one after another. I decided to give up my driver for another wedge because of this club. Mizuno is definately helping me lower my scores. I recommend two or three iron/woods such as the Mizuno Fli-Hi or Taylor Made Rescue to precede this club in your bag.

I got this club when I needed to get new clubs because I have grown. I read reviews about it at this site and others and thought that this would be the best club to get at this price. At TGW they offered to put on a BiMatrix shaft and I gladly accepted. My distance increased immensely. The boring trajectory and forgiveness of this club make it go a long way. I strongly recommend getting this club. I tried out the Steelhead plus but it wasn''t forgiveing. I also tried the Hawkeye VFT but it is so big it didn''t seem natural to me. If you are looking for a long forgiving club that isn''t huge get the Mizuno

AFTER PLAYING AN ORIGINAL CALLAWAY STEELHEAD THREE WOOD (WHICH I LOVED) FOR TWO YEARS, AND THEN SWITCHING TO THE STEELHEAD PLUS MODEL (WHICH I NEVER REALLY CARED FOR: HARSH FEEL, LACK OF DISTANCE, AND INABILITY TO GENERATE A HIGH BALL FLIGHT FROM THE FAIRWAY), I WAS ANXIOUS TO GET THE NEW LAUNCHER 3 WOOD FROM CLEVELAND TO MATCH MY NEW AND MUCH LOVED DRIVER. FOR SOME REASON I JUST LIKED THE LOOK AND SETUP OF THE BRAND NEW BLUE RAGE 3 WOOD FROM MIZUNO A BIT MORE. I''VE BEEN TO THE RANGE TWICE WITH IT, AND DESPITE THE FRIGID TEMPERATURES ON BOTH EVENINGS, KNOCKED THE LIVING SNOT OUT OF IT! IT''S AT LEAST TWENTY YARDS LONGER THAN THE STLHD+ AND PROBABLY 7-8 YARDS LONGER THAN THE ORIGINAL STEELHEAD. THE FEEL ON FLUSH SHOTS IS UNMATCHED, AND MIS-HITS LET YOU KNOW, BUT FLY VERY TRUE. I''M PRETTY SURE THAT THIS CLUB WON''T BE A HUGE SELLER (GOOFY NAME, AND ANYBODY THAT PLAYS IN FRONT OF THE BLACK TEES THINKS MIZUNO IS A BASEBALL GLOVE COMPANY) AND THAT IS A DAMN SHAME! THIS IS YET ANOTHER INCREDIBLE PRODUCT FROM MIZUNO. TRADE IN YOUR WARBIRDS! IT''S THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY FOR GOSH SAKES!

This is a great club for my game. easy to swing and easy to line up.previously i was using a titleist 975f and that club was to hard to hit now i have confidence to put the ball right in the middle of the fairway averaging about 210 to 230 yards. you can get really good deals now on them i bought at golfbargains.com and mizuno shipped direct to my house, if your in the market for a good solid fairway wood check these out.

I purchased a strong 3 wood (DG S300 shaft) and a 5 wood (6.5 Rifle FCM shaft) on ebay. Money well spent would be the summary of my experience with these woods!! The club sets up beautifully. The swing weight is lovely -- I can feel the head all the way through the swing. The distance you get is terrific -- 240 off the tee with the 3 wood, and 225 for the 5 wood (and I am not a fast swinger), and only slightly less off the fairway. Control is also excellent -- the small heads allow you to work the ball with ease. Trajectories are excellent -- not too high, not too low. You can get these clubs new for $149 with steel shafts. Why would you buy any of the more expensive fairway woods?

All I can say is "thank the lord" that Mizuno made this club! It is the best set of woods out their in my opinion. It is truly the best. It has great feel and distance. I know before the ball has left the club face, that it will be a good shot. Suggest anyone who is a serious golfer to buy this club!

This is the kind of wood that looks good and it feels good in your hands. It is by far one of the most solid fairway woods that you will ever have in your hands. My mis-hits (which do happen every now and then) still propels the ball out in the fairway some 240 - 250 yards. (Note: I hit the ball long with about 145-155 mph driver swing speed. Lower swing speeds may not produce the same exact results as some of my mis-hits.) If you are looking for a good all-around utility wood I strongly suggest that you try this club out on the driving range before you buy it to see if your game can be enhanced with this club. It helped my game. And I am sure it can help yours, too. Oh, did I mention that it is a real great club to putt/chip with from the fringe. I got one of my two eagles for the year with this club. This wood is also easy to hit. The only weaknest about this wood is hitting out of the deep rough. I use my Callaway WarBird 4wood for those kind of rescue shots. But it does a good job coming out of light to medium rough that''s not too thick. My next mission is to find a driver that feels good and produces consistant results like this club. I wonder if I can put the same shaft as I have in the Mizuno (True Temper Sensicore S-300) in my Titleist 975D? It is a funny thing about this game and the equipment that''s used to play the game: We Are never satisfied because enough is never enough!

Customer Service

I am very satisfied with this club and I plan to stick with it far as long as I play this game or until I get fickle and break-down to buy some more unneaded golf junk just like the rest of you.
