macgregor v foil eye o matic m42 driver stock shaft
i bought this and i started to bomb it. It is very easy to hit. Off the toe and off the heel and it still goes straight. It is easy to line up with and a good club for a shot maker. Similar Products Used: titleist d2, cleveland hibore, taylormade r7 |

Macgregor Eye O Matic 13.5 degree
Bought one off Ebay for about $45. It was fitted with a Graphite Design YS6+ in a stiff flex. I hit it low and right so had is reshafted with a Grafalloy Prolite Fairway shaft in a regular flex. This is an excellent club of the tee. It is long and gives a low penetrating flight with lots of roll. Off the fairway it is understandably more challenging than a 15 degree wood but goods swings are rewarded with the same penetrating flight with a good deal of roll. Poor swings are punished severly. If you only use a three wood off the tee this is a great alternative to the driver, but if you want to use it off the deck then you better be sure of your technique. Eye O Matic 15* 3 Wood Stiff Flex Stock Shaft
I have played MacG. V-foil 565 irons for 6 months and love them so decided to pick up the EyeOMatic driver with the NV stiff shaft that I have liked in my Hogan driver. Since these Mac's could be had for $79 new, decided to take a chance. I liked the driver quite well so when I saw a like new 3-w for $29 on ebay, I jumped on it. Well, let me say, this is the sweetest 3-w I've ever hit. It just feels so solid--hot face, great control and long. The stock shaft feels perfect in stiff-not boardy. I'm convinced MacGregor makes some of the finest but underratedN product out there and it can be had for a song too. Customer Service Never used it. Similar Products Used: V-Foil Speed 565 irons

Eye O Matic 3 Wood Stiff Flex Stock Shaft
This little 3 wood is sneaky long. It has a pretty good amount of bang coming onto the ball. I borrowed a friends for a while but never made the purchase, and I'll tell you why later. When I first started hitting balls on the range, I could not believe the distance, it was insane. The range balls were coming off the face almost as fast as my driver. I was hitting this thing 235 no problem, and could push it to 250 at times. The only problem, the club was a bit too light, and the shaft was a little whippy through impact even though it was stiff. This leads to some but not a lot of inconsistantcy problems. Overall, good club. Customer Service Never Used Similar Products Used: Like the Cleveland Launcher 3 wood, I'm playing that now. |

i play with macgregor clubs, and couldnt be happier. im a junior, but i shoot around 76 in a par 58.im good at short game, but when it comes to driving, i usually only get around 150 to 170yards at the range. but when i got the macgregor v foil eye o matic m42 driver for 74.50 on ebay used like twice, that all changed. i now average 215 yards off the tee with it, right down the center line. i hit of the toe, straight. off the heel? straight. it ROCKS!! MACGREGOR IS UNDERRATED, BUT THEY ROCK! |
