As a devoted hobbyist club maker, I've testet plenty of different brands/models and all I can say is this; If you prefer deep faced FW metals (likr me), hurry to get a few of these before it's too late. As far as I understand they're discontinued but are still available at ebay. Got my 3,5 & 7 heads for 60$ total and equipped them with Mercury Pro Kevlar shafts (DGX100 for the #7) which works exceptionally well. These beautiful black heads really boosts my confidence at line up (which is square BTW, can't stand closed faced woods). The ball explodes of the face with a, for FW's, relatively loud and crisp sound Later I got me a 3+ (w. Graman TP440X) which instanly knocked my "Small driver" (12* SMT Shinnecock/Accuflex Pro) out of the bag. Also tried the hybrids which really are more like a hybrid between regular woods and hybrids/rescues (lower weight and smaller lie angle compared to normal hybrid/rescue wood which makes it hard to build them shorter than 41" without adding extra weight to the head in order to retain normal (D1-D2)swingweight). Seeing them as a very shallow faced version of the woods, I'd say they're OK (for a shallow face). The extremely short sole makes it a jiffy to come out of tight lies.

Purchased the head on Ebay for $12, and was very impressed with the very high quality of finish and design. It was inexpensive, but not cheap. I have used both the Aldila One and True Temper Rocket, steel, shafts and have been impressed with the distance regardless of the shaft. The ball rockets off the face with a high pitched crack, once only heard from high end titanium heads. Very workable and durable. I wish I had purchased the whole set!
