Model Reviewed: Confidence Zoom

I purchased the full set for 300 euro less than a year ago. I had problems wiith the grips which seem to twist while playing a shot. The clubs I got have Apolla graphite regular flex shafts. I found them too light and difficult to control. I changed for a set of Taylor Made Super steel bubble with regular flex and they have much better balance.

Model Reviewed: Confidence Zoom woods and irons

I have had the Confidence Zooms for 5 years. I bought them after trying about ten different makes of 5 irons: Callaway, Cobra, Ping - all the big names at the one session. The Callaways were the best with the Zooms and Cobras second. Value for money saw me choose the Zooms. The woods have rtegular graphite shafts and the irons True Temper Release steel shafts. Last week I tried Ping Combos, Wilson Deep Red 11's, Hogan's latest, Callaways and Taylor Mades after which I hit my old Zoom 6 iron. It was just as good as all the others so I decided to keep them. They are easy to hit giving a firm solid feel with little deviation from club to club. They have an average trajectory with the longer irons able to hold even smallish greens. The 3 and 5 woods have regular shafts which have always been a little too soft for my swing (Was recently timed at just on 100 mph with my driver) but I am usually able to control the flight to a draw only. Considering their age they are in amazingly good condition with little in the way of dings or damage from other clubs hitting against them. I would confidently recommend these to golfers of all handicaps as they perform all shots required of them.

Have tried all the major brands except Titleists. Strangely the Zooms match them all.
