Cobra Speed LD M Offset Fairway Woods

Cobra Speed LD M Offset Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

The fast-back crown, deep dimples, large face, low-and-back CG and high MOI all promote superior performance, whether you're on the tee or in the fairway. The M/Speed-Tuned offers new levels of distance, forgiveness, and accuracy for moderate-swing and ball-speed players. The deeper profile allows for a lower and farther back Center of Gravity and higher MOI. The fast-back crown and massive dimples are two structrual design elements that also promote a low and back Center of Gravity, maximizing MOI while increasing launch and distance.

Model Reviewed: Cobra Speed LD M OS 2008 5 wood

I purchased the Cobra Speed LD off set 5 wood a few months ago. This is by far and away the best fairway wood I have ever hit. I have a slice to my game and however this club didn't completely get rid of the slice it did straighten me out tremendously. Now i have a slight fade. And a lot of the times now it goes right into the short grass. It easily shaved 5 to 7 strokes off of my game. I tee off with it a lot also. I hit it on average about 180 to 200 yards barring if I have the fade or not. Perfect club for the short par fours or the long par three's. I highly recommend this club and the 3 wood will soon be in my bag.

Model Reviewed: Cobra 2008 LD M Speed OS 3 wood

OMG is the best way to describe this club. Over the past few years I have owned Orlimar, Callaway and Ping fairway woods and drivers. I could hit my previous 3 wood pretty straight and far of the tee so I decided to step up and try hitting a driver. Like many golfers, I went from driver to driver trying to find one I was comfortable with and could hit. If I was lucky, I would hit 30% of my drives "straight". I began to worry so much about hitting the ball of the tee that the rest of my game began to suffer. A friend of mine told me about the Cobra M Speed OS woods so I decided to give them a try. I purchased the OS 3 wood and POW!...my drives were dead straight and longer than I had hit any driver. My friends and people at my local driving range were amazed how far and straight I was hitting with this club ball after ball. I was consistantly straight and long. I had people telling me I was hitting my 3 wood further than anyone was hitting their driver...and MUCH straighter as well.
Needless to say, my shots off the tee no longer worry me and my game is improving once again. I HIGHLY recommend this club for anyone who is worried about not feeling comfortable using a driver. This 3 wood can out drive many golfers that do use a driver (and much more consistant in the fairway)!

Model Reviewed: M Speed Offset 3 wood

This is one of the best fairwaywoods I have ever hit. I own the 3 wood in this model. I like this club because I can hit it flush off the deck consistently. The shaft is said to be for slower swingers (I hit a 7 iron between 145 and 160) I am not sure what my average swingspeed is but I get a lot of air under the ball. I thought the offset would not set up to my eye, but it's not that bad at all. The offset is supposed to allow for less of a slice, wich it does. The club does have a very odd sound when you hit it, other than that, this is definitley a club for an average golfer, it's very easy, and fun to hit, a very user friendly club!
