I have now written a few reviews and have a tendency to run on and on about things. I won't do that this time. Bottom line, this club is wonderful. I traded in my brand new Titleist 980 Strong 3 wood, got my $250 dollars back and used $119 of it to buy this Cobra. Long, very straight, very forgiving and extremely consistent. Not much different looking than all the rest (most of which I have owned or demoed) but this one stood out on the range and ont he course. Incredible value too, whether you go for a used SS model or the new SZ model. Cobra price points are way below competition. Atleast give them a try.

Roger Dunn's lets you try for 90 days and then exchange it for anything else you want if you don't like it. The Dunns at Island Driving range in Orange, CA even lets you demo the clubs on the range right there instead of hitting in to a net.

Not a bad club, easy to hit from tight lies. Shaft sucks, too flimsy and light for a Aldila stiff. Hard to control at 95+ swing speed. WAY better after I put a 42.5" Fujikura Vista Pro 70 in it. More like a 4-wood now. Raised the swingweight from D-0 to D-5...now it's very long and straight. As a stock club, I'd say it's best for a smooth, under 90 mph swing speed.

This is the sweetest hitting little 3 wood out there. I thought that Titanium fairway woods were the way to go until this Strong 3 wood came on the scene. Maybe not as forgiving as a larger Ti head, but hit it on the screws and there ain't nothin sweeter. Outstanding price at a buck fifty with a nice little Aldila shaft. Had the Adams Redline, ERC2, Taylor 300. None as long or as suhweet as this Cobra. Take her out for a test drive. Some reviewer say the head is a little small. Heck, just makes you concentrate more and your rewarded with a long boring 235 yard screamer onto the green!! YOu can't beat this deal.

Model Reviewed: Cobra SS 5wood

After hitting the SS 350 driver and loving it,I decided to try the hypersteel 5 wood. Hands down the best 5 wood I've ever used.In fact I now have to get the 3 wood too because the 5 wood goes the same distance as my Steelhead 3 that I was using, making it a waste to carry.I have the Adila stiff shaft and recommend it highly. The club does not produce alot of backspin so you'll need to be careful and dial it down a notch into the greens.I can honestly say that 80 percent of my results with the club have been excellent shots. My worst hits still were decent and were the results of a lousy swing.I can say enough about these woods.Buy them without any hesitation!

Model Reviewed: cobra ss 3 wood offset

hey guys, i just got the cobra 3 wood with stock graphite shaft and winn grip. i had earlier tried out at roger dunn and after few swings, i felt solid contact. so there, i was sold. i prompted to trade in my orlimar trimetal and boy is there a difference. with the orlimar, you get laser sharp ball flight but less forgiveness. the cobra is very impressive with good forgiveness. however like many viewers comments, the ball flight is higher, that is okay with me since i just gives me more confidence when a mis hit occurs. i like also the look of the cobra and will probably someday get either the 7 wood to replace my other mid to long irons. the driver possibly the 380 cc is another next buying gift. regarding the offset, at first, with a few mis hits , i had my doubts. i was thinking of trade in again. however, after few more swings. the worst that is get is fade,. i realize i can it hit right down middle or more tendency to get a draw. either way, i will trade the usual slice for the occasional draw anyday. my utmost recommendation for a wood without being too expensive, especially even more pleased when i found out titleist owns and oversee the cobra production. good luck everyone.

Yes! Thanks everyone for the accurate reviews of this fantastic 3 wood. I love my SS 350 driver so I decided to try out their 3 wood. I tried to hold my expectations low based on the great reviews that this club got, but I must say I was very pleased after I adjusted to this club. Very straight and long. I don't see how people can complain about the small head of this club. You don't want a large head slowing down your head speed while moving through the grass. I really like the slightly deeper face of this wood. I'm not a brilliant ball striker, but this club after you get the feel for it, gives you a lot of confidence.

Model Reviewed: King Cobra SSi Fairway woods - Reg flex

I have owned or tried virtually every major brand over the past ten years and I work very hard on my game. I have never experienced such a thrill as I got when I tried a friend's SSi hyper steel 15.5 degree 3-wood on the range. I hit two balls with a low boring trajectory well out past my driver. I went right to Pro Golf and bought the only SSi 5-wood in stock and ordered the 3- and 7-woods. I hit the 5-wood 230 off the tee and can take it off the fairway and land it softly from 215-220 yards out. The trajectory of the 5-Wood is high (unless I take a divot), yet it holds amazingly well even into a fairly strong wind. The 7-wood I use for 180 to 195 shots. On my first three 195-yard par-three attempts I made every green. Absolutely the best equipment I've owned, long and straight - changed my game.

Model Reviewed: King Cobra SS Stainless Fairway Woods (3 & 5)

In my 2 years of playing, I didn't have that much confidence in hitting my previous fairway woods until I tried the King Cobra SS Stainless Fairway Woods. I bought this 2 months ago and since then I score in the 90s consistently (before I shoot in the 100s). From the setup up to the finish, it is truly amazing. Highly recommended for mid to high handicappers looking for forgiving clubs without sacrificing the distance. Price is also affordable!
