Cleveland Launcher Fairway Woods

Cleveland Launcher Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

• The maraging steel face has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than standard 17-4 stainless steel. The high strength characteristics allow us to create an extremely thin and lightweight face. This makes the face “hotter”, providing maximum distance.
• The fairway woods offer optimal face depth, which provides a large hitting area for increased forgiveness.
• The combination of a pear shape and a proportional head size make it easy to square the face at address, providing confidence time after time.
• A traditional score line pattern ensures proper spin and launch angles, even in wet or heavy grass conditions.

The best fairway woods yet. The 13 degree is driver-like and is totaly workable. The 19 degree - can you dig a 225 yd second shot to 8 feet pin high? Eagle opportunities abound with these clubs in your bag! i don't know if the titanium versions are any better but that is hard to imagine.

Tee it low and hit it hard. Don't need a driver if you have this club. Can fade and draw this club with confidence. I can hit this club 250-270 and control the shot off a tee.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Launcher 3 wood

My search for a "perfect" 3-wood is finally over. I held off on this review for a while until I verified that what I was experiencing with the club is for real. Now I can. Length of shot you get from this club is relative to your ability. I can get 200++ yards consistently with this club but my friends who got higher swing speeds can crank it out 240 yards. Therefore distance is not the issue here, it control and playability. I am a fader/slicer most of the time but this club allows me to manipulate the shot with ease. I can draw (finally) a ball or fade it (like normal) and straight shots are very common. Hitting the ball off the deck has never been easier with this club. But if you mis-hit the ball, it will let you know but you are not severely penalized on distance. Great club. I was enamored badly that I ordered a Launcher 5 wood now on the way.

Model Reviewed: 15 & 22 degree Launchers

If you want to hit the ball farther and straighter, the launchers are for you! I have owned all of the majors brands and these are by far the easiest and most forgiving fairway woods I've hit. I have reached Par-5s in 2, something I have not been able to do before. So yourself a favor, go to the Cleveland Website (www.clevelandgolf.com) and review there "demo days" schedule. When the tour van is in your area, go and try these clubs. You won't regret it!

This is one of the best pices of equipment in my bag, I've hit some of my best shots with this club and wouldn't trade it for any other. My average scores are in the higher 70's and early 80's. I've tried many others (Titleist, Ping, Nike, Taylor Made ect...) but this just turned out to be the best. I usually hit this club about 265. Now this is a very good club for the more advance player, it has good feel, accurace, and distance. But it is not very forgiving for the beginner player. It works out very well on any lie, I would reccomend it for the faster swinger. It does not have much of a sweet spot since the club face is very small, but boy does it get the job done when it is hit correctly. I would give this club a 5 out of 5 for the mid to advanced players.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Launcher 15 Deg. Fairway Wood fitted with True Temper Reg Steel Shaft

The best I bought so far. Got it from a friend who bought it from the US. In my country Malaysia it is pretty hard to get fairway woods fitted with steel shaft. Bought it Tuesday and went straight to the driving range to test. I just could'nt believe the feel and distance that I'm getting from the club. Marvellous. Slightly lower on the trajectory but the distance is fantastic. I'm definitely dropping my current 3-wood and for the price I paid (Est USD45) it certainly worth it.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Launcher 3 & 5 woods

The cleveland launcher fairway woods are simply put, the best clubs available. I have been playing golf for several years now, I have tryed many woods. The reason for this is because I am not a real big guy and my average drive is only around 250-260yds, so I need woods to reach greens easier. I decided that I was going to tryout for my school team and that I would need a rather good upgrade for the start of my competitive career. The Launcher Woods will increase your distance by at least 20yds guranteed. The 15degree 3-wood and the 19degree 5-wood are a perfect match for people who need distance because of not so long drives. On days where your driver is working hit the Launcher woods. The difference between my 3-wood and driver is only 15yds. These are the greatest clubs ever. You must purchase them nothing else compares.

The closing thing to comparing is the Taylormade V-Steel woods. but expect to loose 15-25yds of distance 20yds of accuracy either way.
