launcher comp wood
The Launcher Comp has very good distance. The stock shaft is poor but no surprises here. The head is small and pearshaped similar in appearance to Titleist woods. The face is hot and there is a click sound at impact. The feel is muted due to the carbon crown, but I actually prefer this over metallic or pingy heads. I will probably have to replace the shaft. Overall, a classy club with a bunch of technology that keeps up with current woods. And at $65 shipped, an very good deal. Customer Service Where is the contact email on the Cleveland site? Bought at a sale for $120. Comparable to earlier launcher models. Easy to hit from fairway and tee box. Distance is comparable to current models of fw. Stock launcher black fujikura shaft is not fantastic but ok. Customer Service Not needed Similar Products Used: callaway steelhead, honma, orlimar, yonex |

These clubs with the regular graphite shafts go long and far. The ball flight is low to mid and the ball really rolls after it lands. These clubs are not too good out of the rough but from the fairways and first and second cuts they really do rock. Off the tee they are not as easy as the very small heads make it a little harder, but you can get used to that. The longest fairway woods I have ever hit. Customer Service Very good, but the new hibore fairway woods are coming out in the fall of 2006. Similar Products Used: Adams ovation, GBBII, Cleveland Titanium[good club], and Ping G2 |

Cleveland has done a fantastic job with this club. It's long and easy to hit. Shots can be shaped with a minimum of effort and the face is HOT. Although I'm still a little partial to the Sonartec 3.5 (a little more workable), this club is definitely more forgiving. Customer Service Cleveland is excellent! These woods are great! Easy to hit from the tee, fairway or rough. Nice traditional feel. By far the best fairway woods around, especially with the shaft upgrade Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Adams redline, Taylor V-steel |
