big bertha 2004 7wood
bought it from callaway preowned in very good condition(it was). Know that it's in reality a 5wood. Played it in rough, in fairway, off the tee, and with uneven lies. I found it easy to hit, which is a bit surprising since fairway woods have always given me inconsistent results. The key, I believe, is the very high trajectory. My big bertha 2004 3 iron is 20 degrees vs. this one at 21 but the difference in initial ball flight elevation is huge.

3 wood 15*
bought it to replace my one iron...i know, i know...anyway hated it....hooked it really bad....kept playing started hating it more....but noticed that the grip (o.e.m. callaway) had some gay ridge running the length of the grip spine...took it in and replaced it with a golf pride v-55 full cord.....ball flight is now used to align and calibrate lasers for nasa....pays pretty good...definitely my favorite club in the bag....3 inch rough move over callaways going to town....i have one par 5 on my home course that i love....i have hit this green in two with this 3 wood more times than not...my closest being a 255 yard shot to a back left pin that I stuck to within 6 feet with just a baby draw...yeah this club has a permanent home for sure...no i did not make the putt but that's becausei I SUCK.... Customer Service get rid of the gay grip and its golden Similar Products Used: adams redline...no good |

Callaway Big Berha Stainless 4+
I got this fairway wood about a year ago with the RCH "firm" shaft (Firm is Callaway's equivalent to stiff.) It took about a month to learn how to hit it, but once I learned the trick it was great. Very forgiving for the size of the clubhead and a beautiful, somewhat low trajectory. I reccomend this club to anybody, especially higher handicappers. However, if you hit your driver less than 200yds, I advise going with a regular flex shaft for sure. The 4+ is perfect for me because it has a slightly smaller head than the three, but has similar distance. It perfectly fills the gap between my driver and 3 iron. If you don't mind used clubs, I strongly advise Callaway Golf Preowned. You can get this club for around $90-$120 on that site. Customer Service Not needed. Big Bertha Stainless Steel 3 Wood
I’ve been using a Titleist 980f 3 wood for the past 4 years and was happy until I changed my irons and started to draw the 980f – normal shot with irons and driver is straight or a slight fade. This started the quest to find a replacement. I tried the 904f, TM range, Srixon, Ping G5 and Callaways. I was surprised to find that I hit the Big Bertha better than all the rest. Even more surprised to find that I hit the steel Uniflex shaft straighter (shot consistency and dispersion was amazing) and as long or longer than the others. I think the Big Bertha Fusion may have been a little longer but I’m prepared to sacrifice 5 to 10 yards to be straight down the centre. I’ve used it for three rounds, been more consistent which in turn has got me back to single figures!!! Customer Service Not Used Similar Products Used: Titleist, TaylorMade, Srixon & Callaway |

'04 BB fairway wood
Just took this baby out on the course and the difference it has made to my game is unbelievable. Short par 4 (310) and i figured I'd lay up to smooth lob wedge. Hit it sweet and went up to look for it. Found out I was 10 yards short of the green! Got it cheap for $125 from the pro shop after extensive testing with the V-steel and 980F. Buy it, it will help your game! Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: TM V-steel and Titleist 980F |

Callaway BB 2004 3-wood
I was so impressed with my Callaway 2004 BB Titanium 360cc driver so I bought this 3-wood to replace my aging 3-wood Olimar. I am still learning how to hit this club, not a WOW as I would have hoped. Right now I can hit at about the same distance as of my Olimar 3-wood, hopefully after I get used to it I can hit better. I bought it on Ebay for $100, it comes with a stock RCH 65 gram R-graphite shaft. I was considering Cleveland 3-wood titanium before buying BB, I read good reviews about cleveland 3-wood, who knows, maybe I would get an instant WOW with the Cleveland 3-wood. Well, I just have to get used to this club. Will update my report next year |

Callaway 2004 Big Bertha 7-Wood
I just received a new Callaway 2004 Big Bertha stainless 7-wood (21 deg.) with the regular-flex RCH 75 grahite shaft and here are my observations after playing today: Pluses: -Very solid feel at contact, inspiring confidence. -Consistent distance when well struck. -I landed on and held a par-3 hole that I don't normally hit. It was sweet! Minuses: -Trajectory varied quite a bit - could be I need to develop some ball-striking consistency with this club. Also, the trajectory was much lower than I'd expect with a 21 deg. club. -While I was pleased with the consistency, I was disappointed with the distance - about 155-165 yards. I'm not a long hitter, but I achieve similar yardage with my 24 deg. Tight Lies 7-wood. I have contacted UST for their recommendation a new shaft. -Customer service (see comments below). Customer Service Before buying this club, I sent an email to Callaway describing my game in detail so they could recommend if I should get the regular flex shaft or a light flex. (I suspected that I might need a light flex shaft as that is what I now have in Cobra SS350 driver.) After spending 15 minutes describing my game so that I could receive an informed recommendation, their response was that I should see a golf pro. (They not understand that I would have visited a golf pro if had I wanted to do so, or they did want to spend any time in reading my message and responding. BB 2004 FW
For some time, have been looking for a replacement for my old worn-out Warbird and, after numerous demo sessions, settled on a BB 2004 15* with RCH75 Firm shaft.... couldn't be happier with my choice. The Launcher was a close second, but over the years have found that anything Callaway is an easy choice. Especially like the shaft weight (75-gm)and the fact that Cally offers a Firm flex for the "tweeners." Customer Service Best in the business. Callaway 2004 3 wood
Best Fairway wood ever. I tried the stock shaft first and it was good but I had a tendancy to hit left sometimes. Sold it and bought same club with Aldila NVS 75 and it is perfect. This is a great fairway wood shaft because it has a high kick point to get the ball up but a controlable torque. I swing about 95-100 and it has worked great for me. I just ordered the same 5 wood. Customer Service Great! Similar Products Used: Macgregeor v-Foil, 2005 Titleist, |

Callaway 2004 Big Bertha Stainless Steel 3w 15*
This club is super easy to hit and the ball takes off with seemingly little effort. This club is also very forgiving when hitting off the tee or the turf. I'm impressed by how easy it is to get the ball up in the air from either lie. Also has that great, solid sound of ball off steel that lets you know you just blasted another straight down the fairway. This club will give you a lot of confidence when teeing off on those tight fairways, expect about 220-240 yards, depending. Similar Products Used: TaylorMade V-Steel, Maxfli 3w, Mactec 3w |
