It would be hard to overstate the impact the Bobby Jones Hybrids might have on the average player's games. I've had mine for a month, have probably hit 20 shots in actual rounds, and 15 or so have been really good (with the other 5 manageable misses). It's just hard to not make good contact with them, from even heavy rough.
You do need to tee them low off the tee, as the weight seems very low in the clubface. The club is also really great for chipping, and perhaps the best thing to say, is that the Jones Hybrid takes disasters out of your bag. If in doubt about a myriad of various shots, hit the Bobby. Absolutely GREAT golf club.

Have played several rounds with this club and like it a lot. Used it to replace my trusty Orlimar 20* (it may be old, but it works) and have not been disappointed. Nice high ball flight, soft green landings, good distance, and set up feels real nice and confident. Prefer the lower profile to bigger clubfaces like Sonartec. Agree with prior poster who said it's easy to pop-up in fluffy rough, but I don't play much in this stuff on my course, and when it does happen I use a club with deeper face. Normal rough is not a problem for this club. Great off the tee on short par 4s or long par 3s. Not surprisingly given the designer, feels a lot like older Orlimars.

A bit pricy at retail, check ebay.

I just bought two Bobby Jones Hybrids (3 & 4) and tried them out during a couple of rounds this week. I now think shooting in the 70's is a real possibility for me and not just a pipe dream. These clubs give me the ability to hit long, accurate shots from the fairway, a facet of my game that did not exist before. In my first round, I dropped the ball 5 feet from the pin from 202 yds and that was a first for me. The first thing you notice is the club just feels good to swing. With no extra effort, I am hitting the ball straigter and a good bit farther than with my old 2 hybrid. The ball feels great coming off the clubface and really gets up in the air easily. I even used the 4H to chip with several times and put the ball within 2 feet of the hole each time. Yes, these clubs are pricey (quality always is), but worth every penny in my opinion.

Good all around hybrid. The face is to shallow for fluffy lies though. Great off tight lies. This is by far the longest hybrid I've ever hit.
