This driver rocks, it hits like a 460cc yet in a more controllable 420cc. Personally I feel better with a 420cc. The thin face is very responsive and makes a loud and distinctive sound. You know when you hit it well. My opinion is that this club is easy to use and hit well and with confidence. I compare it to drivers that sell for hundreds more. I wonder why they were priced so low and why they are sold now and such an incredibly low price. Customer Service good Similar Products Used: Nike, Taylormade, Callaway |

I borrowed this driver from my local pro I hit every fairway that day averaging approx 260 metres The ball once hit has good elevation The shot really stays straight Seriously I love this driver to death In the end I ended up stealing this club and posting a cheque later to the pro who is now a good mate of mine Nobody gets to use my driver except me Dont be scared and try the stiff shaft like i did. |

I have had a 9.5* c-s3 driver for about a year now and love it. Before I got this sweet club I was hitting a 10.5* clev. comp with a stiff flex shaft. I got my c-s3 with a x flex shaft for added control and can still hit the ball 10 to 20 feet higher than the comp. It's 420cc which is the perfict size, inexpensive, and feels great (especially compared to that dead feeling comp.). Now I fly the corner of #18 at my home corse. Since golf today is all about carry, this club is KING. |

Well lets see. I have always been able to hit the ball pretty far. The last driver I owned was a Titliest 975D. I recently went into the market for a new driver and picked up the Big Ben. It added about 20 yards to my drive and was alot more accurate. I went from driving the ball about 280 to about 300 and rencenty hit my longest drive about 325. So, if you are in the market for a long and straight driver pick this one up a steal right know for $149.00 |

Hogan CS-3 Neutral 9.5 stiff
I've recently been shopping for a new driver that will keep me in the fairway more often. I currently use an SMT Nemesis 9* with a Harrison Striper J Ti stiff shaft. I hit it for good distance, but am missing a fair amount of fairways. I went to several ranges and tried demoes for the R5, R7, G2, G5, Callaway 454, Clev Launcher 460 (and Comp), and the CS-3. The two I ended up liking best were the CS-3 and the regular (not new Ti or Comp)CL 460 with the Grafalloy Prolaunch stiff shaft. Both were very straight and consistently at about 250-270 +- yards. It should be noted that both of these shafts are low torque and high launch/low kick point (the NV shaft on the Hogan is a special high launch one they make for this club - the normal NV shaft has a high kick point.) I ended up purchasing the CS-3 because I was a little more consistent with it, and it was about $100 less (I got the CS-3 on e-bay for $100). I'll follow up after I get it and play a few rounds with it, but I was very happy with it at the range. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: the usual suspects - see above |

CS-3 - Draw
I bought this club due to slicing and distance issues I was having with my Taylormade R5 Dual - Draw driver. Granted my swing is not perfect but with the Hogan driver it doesn't have to be. I think the biggest difference is the shaft. The Adilia shaft in the Hogan just feel right. The shaft in the TM is dead. Don't believe the marketing hype and price tag in regards to the TM. The Hogan has a better shaft and is higher quality. Doesn't feel cheap like the TM. Right now you can steal the Hogan driver off of any web site - Brand New for approx. $150. This is a steal! Trust me get one you won't be disappointed. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Taylormade R5 Dual - Draw, Taylormade 200 Steel |

I purchased my R7 at the beginning of the season. When I hit it well, I hit it very well. But, when I toed one, or heeled one, all bets were off to what kind of a shot I had next. I have always been a Hogan fan (Hence the bag full of Hogan clubs), but I was hesitant to get this driver for a couple of reasons. One, the sound.. What a God Aweful racket it makes when you hit it square. (But, does it ever let you know you hit it well) Second, it was huge. I traded my R7 for the CS-3, and I have shot the best rounds this year with it. The first few rounds threw me off, because I was not use to being in the Fairway that often. I have always been a Scramble Golfer. The distance was not the same when I first purchased it, but, it has come in since. The Biggest selling point I have found was this. When I mis-hit it, it didn't punish me. We had our Club Championship last weekend, and I missed only 2 fairways on Saturday, and 3 on Sunday. On Saturday, I had a rough day.. Only hit the ball GOOD on 2 holes. But, the driver took care of me. Get that R7 out of your Bag!!!! Get past the marketing hype that is the R7. Your game is worth it! Customer Service Nothing with the driver, but when I purchased my irons, the labels for the shaft were bad. I E-mailed Hogan, and they sent me new labels, AND a beautiful hat. I had been looking at this club for a while so I decided to try it out at a local driving range that allowed demos, I tried the C-s3 as well as the r7 but the c-s3 just felt more comfortible and had better feel so went one the computer. I looked on ebay and got a great deal. The club was brand new in the plastic with headcover for only $150 I took it out to encinitas ranch and tried it out my score went way down I shot a 75 apposed to an average of 12 over. My strokes are dropping rapidly because of straighter drives off the tee. Customer Service great tin cup auctions on ebay had it ast my house in three days! Bought this driver about a month ago after trying a number of the new drivers out there. It works very well for me; the feel is the difference. I can feel the clubhead at all times. In addition, the NV shaft is excellent. At first thought that it was shorter than other new drivers on the market, but as I get used to it, I find that I am longer than I was with my Cobra. Overall, an excellent club, and really attractive. |

Just got this club last week to replace 2 previous Taylor Made R580xd's. I have always battled a slice with every driver I have owned. I got the 10.5 draw C-S3 and was amazed at how my bad swings still managed to go straight. If anything, I was drawing most of the shots. I would highly recommend this club for anyone who can not do away with a fade or a slice. I do not feel as though it is as "hot" off the face as the TM's, but I would prefer playing out of the fairway and sacrifice 5-10 yds. Customer Service Have not had any issues with my club, but did call customer service prior to buying. They were very helpful in my decision. Similar Products Used: Adams RPM |
