Tight Lies Tour 15# 3 wood
What a great 3 wood! This is the only club in my bag with a stiff shaft (EI70) and it is just so solid. Easy to hit from anywhere and very accurate - mainly wants to go straight although I tend to hit it with a slight draw from the tee. Ball flight is very stable and boring and when it lands the ball just rolls and rolls. I often use this off the tee in windy conditions rather than driver because the ball seems to hold its line far better.
Customer Service Never had to use. Similar Products Used: Tight Lies Tour 13 and 17, Steelhead III (hooky, 904f (hooky), 200 steel (nice). |

13* Tight Lies Tour
I bought this club about three years ago in a pawn shop for $20, and no matter how much technology changes, this club stays in my bag. It came with an older Grafalloy ProLite shaft, which I always liked, and I can consistently hit it 230 to 250 on a nice boring trajectory. The feel of this club is buttery when hit flush and off center hits produce instant feedback. I bought a Ping Rapture 14* 3 wood recently to see what new technology has to offer, and I put this one back in the bag after 3 rounds. It really is that good. Finding it for $20 was just icing on the cake. A great fairway wood for golfers who don't need extra help getting the ball airborne. Customer Service Never needed, but I have heard nothing but good things about Adams. They really are a great company that is on the rise. Tight Lies Tour Woods 17* and 19*
These woods are extremely reliable. If you dial these woods in, put a good swing on them, and they will be right on the money every time. I know for a fact that I hit my 19* 180yds, and my 17* 200*. Came to a 180 yard par three recently, and pulled out the 19*, and stuck the ball within a foot of the pin, leaving me with about a 6ft putt. The really good news about these woods, they are DIRT CHEAP. Guys, if you are looking for something to replace your 2 thru 4 irons, give these woods a try. I think you will really the results. |

Adams Tight Lies Tour 13
What a shame that this club has died unknown and unloved. Truly an excellent fairway wood. No cryptonite sole plugs (read: no moon rockets) here. As others have said, I can only affirm, excellent address optics, wonderful strong trajectory, hard strong cracking feel at impact. I've searched through 3 wood he77 trying to find this stick, and I found it in a reconditioned "junk" pile (still in very nice shape). This one has a Prolite X shaft (which, by the way, is still a very excellent shaft and is a very friendly X flex). After only a month, I have hit half a dozen memorable shots with this club. I'm thinking, especially at the time of this club, that the Adams line was the focus of the higher handicap player, and so an Adams marked "tour" did not get a lot of attention. Well, it has my full attention. Very pleased. |

Tight Lies Tour 15 degree Fairway Wood
In one word, "Unbelieveable!" My bag consists of MacGregor PCB Forged Tour blades, Hogan Wedges, Titleist Bullseye Putter and the 975D Driver. Thought to myself, would Tight Lies fit into my bag? I needed a three wood for the longer par 5's... In the quest to break 80 consistently, I searched high and low at the fairway woods. Cobra was impressive, Titileist nice but nothing convincing me. So I stumble upon a barrel of Tight Lies woods, the 15 degree Tour Model stood out and $70.00, barely used...hmmmm. Unbelievable I say. It came with a steel Reg Flex shaft and stock firm grip. Felt very heavy, like my blades and when placed near a ball in the store, offered confidence at address. Nice profile, the Tour Model is the deal. So I take it to the range and ding, ding ding, the ball explodes 200-225 all night long. I was laughing. Yes a few mis hits, but I could feel them instantly and yes, they were all my own fault. BUY ONE ASAP. I am looking for a 19 degree... Customer Service Not utilized. Similar Products Used: 975F, Cobra and Taylor Made |

Great club, great value. Hit it long and straight, off the tee or off the deck. Easy to control. Highly recommend getting one if you can find one on E-Bay. Similar Products Used: Orlimar Tri-Metal, Cobra |

Adams Tight Lies Tour
I previously played a Taylor Made Mid-Sized 3 wood with the same loft (15 degrees). I immediately picked up 10 to 15 yards of distance with the Adams club (also 15 degree loft). IMO, the true temper EI-70 shaft is the difference. It is likely a better shaft than the typical cheap grafite shaft used in most clubs today. This club was discounted by Golfsmith due to new model year. Works great off the tee (tee the ball low) or off the deck. My only complaint is the original grip. But that was a $2 fix with a golf pride tour wrap. Good choice if yo find one on Ebay. Customer Service None needed |

Adams Tight Lies Tour 15 degree
Previously had a Mizuno C-Face forged 13 degree but found it a little inconsistant, and too shallow faced. When holidaying in Florida I found a demo Adams Tour model , and immediately bought it, having demoed one earlier on. Despite having a preference for steel shafts I have to say this is a brilliant three wood with the EI-70 stiff shaft. From the tee (make sure it's a low one) or from the fairway it's both accurate and very long, sometimes too long from the tee. The flight is perfect, it gets up quick and stays there, without getting too high. Similar Products Used: Mizuno Forged, Calaway Steelhead, Orlimar tri-metal, Titleist 975F(bore through) |

Adams Tight Lies Tour 19 degree w/ Reg. flex EI70
Outstanding club for the money. The regular flex EI70 shaft is great - not to soft. Had an original tight lies before but hated it because of inconsistent results and popups out of anything but the fairway. This club has a deeper face and is so much more playable. Need to thank Adams for discontinuing this model so that they have become so cheap. Outstanding value in a fairway wood - try one, I think you will be happy.
