I recently bought the Adams Air Assault 16* fairway wood with stock steel stiff shaft for $69CAD and love it! I finally have a club, other than my driver that I can lay in to off the tee and not have to worry about slicing or hooking to a serious degree. My swing speed is an average of 104mph and this club allows me to use it to my full extent. I have skyed one ball with it off the tee, and that was my teeing error (too high). This has been the easiest club for me to hit off the fairway next to my 5-iron and has easily saved me 9-10 strokes off my game.

i demo'd a tigh lies at my local golf course before buying and loved it! i hit the ball straighter with this fairway wood than any other. i changed from a orlimar tri-metal which i was having a hard time hitting straight consistently. i hit the ball about the same distance with the adams, maybe even a little shorter, but the accuracy is great. It is also a very forgiving club, now i feel confident from the fairway and sometimes i use it off the tee to hit a tight fairway. great club!

good club, user friendly. for me, adams are easy to hit, judging by the clubs i own and have tried. i have a strong 5 and a 3 and seeing as i am a big hitter, i use them to drive with, getting more precision that a big fat driver. nice, versatile clubs. however, the odd shank does happen, but i am suspicious that the problem lies with the person swinging the thing, rather the guys who make it!

just replicas, cheaper imitiations which is pointless because they're well priced anyway.

I am able to keep my drives under control with adams air , I play on a very tight course where distance isn't the overwhelming factor. I now have the confidence everytime to take my wood out and let it fly

We have a club maker in the area and I tried some tight lies imitations and his clubs were not even close to the product you manufacture.

I'm a very good golfer and I had this club for a summer and wouldn't give a nickle for it. It feels horrible, like you're hitting a block of wood. It gives the sorriest tarjectory and its cosmetics are just terrible. The only good thing to say about it is that it does go far and most of that is roll. Please don't spend your money on this product unless you don't care about feel or trajectory which is pretty much the most significant characteristics about a club.

Model Reviewed: Adams Strong 5 Tight Lie

Late last summer I bought an Adams Strong 5 for those 185 to 200 yard shots where I could only occasionally hit my #3 iron. This club is responsible for taking 5-6 strokes off my game. It is extremely easy to hit and everyone who has tried it has had the same success I have. I can highly recommend this club for those of you who need help in that range. I liked it so much I bought a #7 which I have not yet had a chance to use. Be cautious of look alikes. Buy THE Adams and you will not be disappointed.

This club proved to be very controlable for someone of a higher playing ability. For the higher handicapper the odds of hitting the ball square and perfect are slim at best. They make an excellent fairway wood, but they shouldn't have stepped into driver territory.

This is the easiest fairway wood I have ever hit - it stikes the ball with a feeling of real authority and hits it straight down the line. It may not have the sound of the Trimetal at impact, but I found it *so* much more forgiving. As for 'pop ups', I haven't experienced any and I have hit it from all types of lies. This is one wonderful club!

Tried the Adams alongside the Steelhead and the Trimetal - I hit the ball much staighter with the Adams -end of story.
