I ordered my Zeider driver after a 45 minute conversation with Bill Zeider himself back in 2005. He asked several questions about my height, a few measurements, my playing ability, my ball fight, and my most consistent miss off the tee. As I am in North Carolina and he is in California a one on one visit wasn't in the cards. After settling on a loft and shaft combination, lie and face angle, I left the rest up to him. All I can say is that the 10-12 weeks was well worth the weight. You will never find a feel to match that of a forged Zeider driver head. The ball felt like butter. So much so that I was convinced that I had lost distance. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was not only driving the ball longer and straighter, but significantly so. My big miss, which was always a huge block to the right had been eliminated. While I do not prefer to draw my tee shots I was able to do so on demand. The ball fight was high like I prefer with a ton of carry. My club head speed has been measured at 118 mph which isn't bad for a 52 year old with a train wreck for a lower back. I am so pleased with this driver that I am going to get Bill to build me the Valiant model with the larger club head. The quality of this equipment is best in class. Bill basically said that most of today's drivers were what he called disposable. They simply are not built to last. Don't forget that his equipment won three long driver events in a row with Jason Zuback. Once the LDA went mainstream the big sponsorship dollars came into play and Bill was not interested in getting into that. I have an idea that if you were to ask Zuback years from now when he is no longer contracturally obligated to one of the big boys, that he would tell you the Zeider driver was far and away the best driver he ever played. It's the best that I have ever hit and I have pretty much hit them all.
