Just put this back in the bag and was amazed at how good it still is. I thought the smaller head and long shaft would give me problems but I find they I am hitting it as long and straight as any modern driver. Not many around now but I picked up mine about 3 years ago for £20 ($30) off e-bay which for a club that originally retailed at 10 times that price makes it something of a bargain.

Got today, hit 30 balls or so, low and long for me so far, makes funny sound might turn some off. Best $15. i've spent recently. I'm in my mid 60s and hit several balls 250 with roll, no wind. Well constructed club w/ innovative design might account for funny sound. Can't go wrong for the price. Customer Service None to date Similar Products Used: srixon W302, W403, Mactec |

A lighter weighing club that delivers distance comparable to any other brand! Its also very straight hitting and has a subdued sound at impact and not that high-pitched crack of most other clubs. The ball flight is neither balloning nor low and running - its a beautiful mid-trajectory which also rolls well on landing. Its great looking - very sleek and does not look uncomfortably large as most of the bigger 460cc drivers do.Very easy to square up while aiming and even though its an inch longer at 46" than standard 45" its not unruly throughout the swing.Highly recommended and worth trying out for yourself... |

Yonex Cyberbird 10.5 - Aldila NV Stiff Shaft
Excellent! I completely agree with the review above. I picked up a 10.5 degree BRAND NEW on Ebay for £68!! For that price it is an absolute steal! Came with the stock Yonex shaft which was far too whippy for my swing and had a very high trajectory and soft tip. Changed it instantly to Aldila NV Stiff (also an Ebay bargain at £22!) - Incredible improvement! Long, boring trajectory. Great carry and suprising roll. Looks very good at address. Not overtly large like some drivers on the market and the carbon composite crown looks superb. Sits square to the ball - none of this closed-face-at-address rubbish! Sound on impact is a solid thud with a hint of metallic "ting". Does not draw unwanted attention at the 'range expect for the excellent results. Accuracy is superb and head is very forgiving for miss hits. I trialled it against TaylorMade 540 and 580 as well as my older generation TM 300Ti and Callaway BB Steelhead and feel it is a vast improvement. A great club which deserves to sell more - seems only Yonex's image and lack of pushy marketing are to blame. All the better for everyone else as bargains are out there. ENJOY!
