This driver is amazing. I used to play a g5 but the shaft broke. So I didnt have a driver for my tournament and i needed one quick. As soon as i hit the 905 i bomb it. I was in a net but i didnt no how far it was going. Now that ive played with it for awhile i can hit the ball 280-310 each time. MY g5 i could only hit between 250-270. This driver offers forgiveness and accuracy. I used the stiff staff because my swing speed is about 115.

You know the way they say that ittakes 4 shots for you to decide whether a driver fits you or not? Well, the second swing I took with this baby went about 350 yards up the fairway.

I went out to my local golf driving range and I thought, why not demo two drivers? I chose the 905T and the r7. I hit the r7 very inconsistently and hooked almost every one?&^#!@$ With the titleist I avereaged around 240 with a stiff shaft. I loved the speeder shaft because it's very constrolable, great feel and quality. The trajectory stayed flat and penetrating and felt solid. Great looks too. the r7 is a very gimmiky driver. screws are cool but don't really have much affect. sweetspot is too high on face. Titleist's was dead center. I had an Nike Sasquatch but it was too big and incosistent. The titleist 905T was perfect at 400cc and is great for low to mid handicappers. Great at $300 at my golf fitter. Customer Service Never had to use. Similar Products Used: r7, SQ, r5. |

Titleist 905T - Aldila NV65 stiff
Incfredible club. I replaced my r7 with this club and have gained yardage and accuracy. It is very long and surprisingly forgiving when mis-hit. For me, it is the perfect size, not too big at 400 cc. I don't like the gigantic clubheads, so this is just right. You can definitely work the ball when you want. I love this driver!

Definitely no the longest driver i've ever hit but the most confidence inspiring. I think this driver would actually be made the most of by a mid handicapper. When i swing badly the dispersion is really small, and of almost all the face the distance is similar. However, you don't get the rewarding +30 yards when you catch it on the sweetspot like you do with other clubs.
Customer Service Good. Snapped my 975JVS shaft about 3 inches from the top!? and they sorted it out and didnt charge. Have had friends who have had faces crack on the 983K and they got an upgraded 905T for free. Titleist 905t 9.5 degree aldila nv85 stiff shaft
A great club, typical titleist styling that good players will love. Not too huge at 400cc, sits lovely behind the ball. Very much a case of try lots of shafts, or get custom fitted as the shaft hugely affects trajectory and dispersion. The heavier nv85 shaft smoothes my swing out and gives me 10-15 yards dispersion on shots, instead of 40-50 yards with my cobra 440. This beauty is also a good 20 yards longer due to the more controlled, penetrating trajectory. I'd very much recommend this clud, especially on the close out deals here in the UK (I picked this up for £150) Customer Service Awful, had problems with my 904 3 wood and the communication has been appauling, took 5 e-mails to get a reply!! Even worse as the UK/world titleist base is a matter of 15 miles from where I live. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975d 9.5 degree stock stiff, 975j 9.5 degree prolite 35s, cleveland launcher 400 10.5 degreereg, cobra 440sz 9 degree stiff. |
