This is an excellent driver. No wonder it was used on the tour by several professionals before the 975D came out. If you want control this is the club to have. I have a 9 degrees with a EI-70 stiff shaft. I hit it straight as an arrow with a pro-like trajectory which results with a decent roll on the fairway. Sweet! I average 260 yards and sometimes longer with this driver. If I mishit it, the ball doesn't slice all the way. My ball would still be at play and NOT in the woods. Pretty forgiving on mishits. If you want to celebrate a victory in the 19th hole, the 976R will deliver. But the question is, will you deliver?... Customer Service very good customer service Similar Products Used: 975D, 975J, Great Big Bertha, Mizuno S300, Firesole... |

My buddy got a new 975D and gave me his old 976R. Being very new to the game (about 2 months), I was immediately intimidated by this club. However after a few sessions at the range, I was able to begin to really hit this club solidly. While much more difficult to hit than larger drivers, it has very good feel and length. I'm driving over 25 yards further. Compared to the other drivers I've hit it's a good choice, but I'd rather have a 975D or J. (If you've got a poor shot shape i.e. hook or slice, don't bother trying this club. Workablility = Uncontrolable for the beginner) Customer Service Kick's Ass Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, Tour Edge Bazooka |

This is a sweet driver (graphite shaft in regular flex). I think I hit a 400cc driver less than this driver. This is a very good club. Goes right down the fairway everytime and my drives are considerably straighter and more accurate than ever before. I just do not know the loft all it has is a 1 on the sole. I only got this driver because it was a Titleist and I never recall anyone saying anything bad about a Titleist driver but I highly recommend getting this 976R. My 976R is a 9 degree, with a Titleist Select stiff shaft. The club sets up perfectly at address, and becasue the head isn't so huge it looks right next to the ball. The 44 in shaft is much easier to control than a longer club and is therefore easier to hit the fairway. The head has a different sound and feel than many other titanium woods. To me it feels more solid and stable at impact though. Not the longest driver on the market, nor the most forgiving, but if you have a good swing it is easy to work the ball and place it where you want in the fairway. I hit my driver about 290, so I wasn't looking for length. I was looking for more control and I definantly found it. Customer Service No past experience Similar Products Used: Name one; several Callaways, Taylor Made, etc. All were harder to control, and none were as visually appealing at set up. |

Great driver, the combintation of the Graph Alloy shaft and 976r head is perfect. The 44" shaft provides more control. I'm hitting more fairways then ever. Customer Service Titleist customer service is very good. Similar Products Used: None |

My previous driver was a Taylor Bubble and this was a much better driver in that it is still very accurate but quite long because it hits the ground running. I wouldn't reccomend it for high handicaps or weaker hitters. It is an excellent club for wide fast fairways. I have the regular flex and it tested out stiffer than my Bubble stiff, so beware in choosing the shaft on the 976R. Very good club. Similar Products Used: None |

Sets up beautifully! Feels solid and very confidence inspiring. Traded in 975D for more traditional sized 976. Hit the 10.5 deg, 44" s300 steel well and straight, but only 250-260. I was surprised because I was hitting my old steel berthas 270-280. Unfortunately, I'll be trading in this club for a Callaway after using it for 5 rounds. Customer Service Pretty good. Not as good as Callaway though Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Ti Bubble 2, Titleist, Yonex, Callaway.. you name it |

I really like this driver. It is the perfect size at 210cc not to big not to small. This club is great for shot workability and control though not as good as my Titleist PT driver . I would say this and the PT are the drivers for the golfers that work the ball and aren't looking for distance or forgiveness. The 976R is a great club.
