I compared this head to head with my BBB. No contest: the BBB won hands down. For an oversized Ti driver, I found the Ti2 extremely unforgiving. Anything not hit on the sweet spot went nowhere. The few times I hit the spot, the feel was kind of dead and distance was shorter than the BBB (9*). Conclusion: if you're looking for a forgiving, easy-to-hit driver, there are many better options

Very inconsistant. When I hit this on the screws I hit it very long, when I was off it was NOT forgiving and the only club I ever hit to give me a hook, I hit a fade with every other driver. Dont like the sound of the hits. Maybe the regular would be better but I put my money on a new BBB which I have it well.

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made TI 2 Tour Forged

Had the Taylor Made TI2 Tour Forged 9.5* driver for about four months. S-90 Bubble 2 graphite shaft. One of the best drivers that I've hit. I can work the ball either way with a predominatly straight to slight fade ball flight. Long off the tee and with the 9.5* loft easy to hit from the fairway. Taylor Made should have kept making these drivers and never made the worthless Firesole driver.

the head is too light so i tend to slice with it unless i swing really slow. Once in a while, i will get off a good 260 yard-er.

orlimar tri-met. 13* / 17* are great too, but shallow faces proved useless from anything but the short hairs

Model Reviewed: Ti Bubble 2 Tour Forged

After trying 90% of the titanium woods out there, I finally settled on the Ti 2 Tour Forged. The feel is "softer" while still giving me the distance that I wanted. The Tour Forged model seems to send the ball off on a lower trajectory which gives me another 10/15 yards in roll. On the down side, the head has come loose 4 times. Also, the S-90 shaft might as well be rated as a "Regular" flex. The TS-100 shaft is much firmer, but is about 3/4 of an inch shorter. One last thing, the Bubble shafts do not use a standard size grip.

I originally bought a Yonex Graphite driver that felt really good to swing but I could not keep it in the fairway. Then somebody did me a favor and stole the thing. I then bought the Ti-2. This is the best club I ever bought. It is much easier to keep in play and alot longer also. I actually get out there 265 +++ which for me is quite good. Even had a few out in the 290's and straight down the middle.
I liked it so much I bought a burner bubble 3 wood and love it also. I think it is the bubble shaft that just makes if feel right.

This is one of the most consistent drivers I've hit: I know it's going to fade. I have found that the bubble shaft affects the kickpoint, thus the necessary flex. For my game, a regular flex bubble shaft is better than a stiff, although I normally played stiff in other drivers. For whatever reason, stiff blows the ball way right on the bubble burner for me. Still, once I figured that out, and learned to slow down my swing, this club has served me well.

After hitting the Bubble for the first time, I knew it was the club for me. With my old warbird the maximum distance that I was able to hit the ball was 50 yards. With the Bubble I am now regularly hitting drives well over 300 yards. I went from a 30 handicap to a 1 in just over a week and I owe it all to the Bubble.

THE MOST SOLID FEELING DRIVER I'VE EVER HIT. LONGER & STRAIGHT THAN OLD BIG BERTHEA THAT I TRADED IN. AND NOW THAT THE FIRESOLE DRIVER IS ON THE MARKET, THE PRICES ARE COMING DOWN!
