RBZ 9 Degree Tour
Hey guys. My name is Jeb and I'm a 2 handicap golfer. I'm a bit short in stature, being somewhere between Danny DeVito and Michael J. Fox. That's about 5 foot 2 in case you were wondering. I'm not a dwarf but at the same time I won't be trying out for the NBA anytime soon.

TaylroMade RBZ Tour 10.5
I tried the non tour version of the RBZ as a possible replacement for my R11. It got me an extra 15 to 20 yards but I had no idea where it was going. I then tried the tour version and I still got extra yards and accuracy was much improved. I have no idea why this is. Basically a very competent driver and whilst longer than my previous driver it is not massively more forgiving. In fact I am beginning to wonder why I replace my Ping G15 with the R11 in the first place. Customer Service My club pro Brian was very helpful with the fitting process. Taylormade were competent in getting it delivered in a reasonable time frame. Similar Products Used: Taylormade R11 |

Taylormade Rocketballz Tour Driver
Honestly, I went on a whim and bought this driver. I bought the RBZ 3 Fairway and fell in love with it the first time I hit it (EXPLOSIVE). The RBZ Tour Driver....NOT! Even with the FCT I could not get the ball to turn right to left consistently and it drove me nuts. It's a great looking club at address, but it's like buying a car, it can look like a dream, but if the engine is not working (at least for me it was not), it's a LEMON.
Customer Service None...bought at cost + 10%. Looking for a buyer at $200. Similar Products Used: None |

First off, I shoot in the 70's from the senior tees. 80's from reg tees. I got a steal on this club from a friend who was hitting it pretty good. I got it and my swing is not very good with a driver. Well this club is not as forgiving as my '09 Burner. I hate it. Customer Service never used. Similar Products Used: Taylormade 09 burner, Cleveland. |

Taylor Made RBZ 10.5 Driver
Was playing with a co-worker and struggling off of the tee on every other hole with my old driver. He had an RBZ and finally convinced me to hit it on one hole. First swing I ever took with the club hit it right at 270 down the middle with a slight draw, which is about 20-30 yards further than I was getting with my old driver. I decided then and there sometimes it could be the club. Went home and ordered one and after testing and tweaking the lie/loft combo to find out what worked for me I put it into play. The first round with this driver I hit 12 out of 14 fairways with an average drive of 272 and a long of 295 (I'm not generally a real long hitter on a consistent basis). I've used it for 2 other rounds since and its performed every bit as well. This is by far the easiest driver I've ever had to hit long and straight. I've got the 10.5 degree and have it set up where it has a medium high flight and still gets about 20-30 yards of roll when it hits. Its fairly easy to work with a draw or a cut and because of the light weight is almost effortless to swing. I'm already playing about 3-5 strokes below my handicap just because I'm in the fairway and hitting shorter irons into par 4s and able to reach some par 5s in 2 shots now. The loft/lie adjustments are easy to do with the wrench that's included and takes less than a minute so you can try multiple settings on the range in a short time frame. I managed to get mine for $229 including shipping so at that price its a steal and even if you pay full price its definitely worth the money. Customer Service Haven't had to use it yet. A month ago today I played in a charity scramble tournament at Bel Aire CC in Los Angeles. Top notch tournament to say the least. I won this club as a prize for the long drive on the 5th. I also won the putting contest and closest to the pin on two of the par 3 holes. I sold that stuff on Ebay. It would have been a great day had I not been paired with two hacks and a queen.
Customer Service I don't call customer service. Similar Products Used: Nothing really. I've never hit anything else that looks like a marshmellow on the end of a licorice stick. |
