The best driver i have ever hit.An extra 30m-40m longer than other driver that I have owned and used before. The MWT really works as claimed. I bought at a bargain on ebay for USD80 together with wrench kit and magnetic headcover. Despite having to pay an additional USD 40 for shipping.by the way i live in Malaysia. I felt that I have finally found the right driver that I've been looking for quite sometime. And I have to say,I still come back to Taylormade.I don't know why? I might not have tried the newer versions..but i know for sure that Taylormade had always come up with good drivers...R510TP, R540, R7 425 TP.. My score at 90 plus is not something to shout about as i did not get to play as much but the ability to drive the ball down the fairway for 250m-260m with this driver will surely be an asset for me in my quest to lower my score in the future. Love it. Hit it higher and straighter than the 510, if not any longer.

R7 superquad 8.5
Great driver. Adjustable with weighting. However, changing weighting has to be drastic to really see trajectory and ball shape changes. Technique and shaft changes always make the biggest differences. Looks good at address. Chunky pear shape. Not a fan of the new odd shapes. Fujikura shaft is good shaft and much better than OEM junk that lots of companies used to use. Most companies are using good shafts now. It is a little soft in the torque area. If you really load the shaft and go after the ball it can get a little whippy but nothing a re-shaft won't solve. Not the most forgiving driver but has a decent sweet spot. Customer Service Taylor Made is pretty good at answering question via phone. Most guys are knowledgeable. Similar Products Used: Too many. |

I have had this club since it first came out in 2007. A very consistent hit with a nice feel. I used the weights 2 years ago, due to a my swing change. It was very nice to have that flexibility. It was on the high dollar side. Similar Products Used: Ping G2, Ping G15 |

Taylormade R7 Superquad 10.5
It is 2010 and found a NEW 2007 R7 Superquad at the Golfsmith store as a leftover forgotten stock in left hand 10.5 degree with R flex. I owned a 2009 and 2007 Burner before this one. After adjusting the weights to my liking and swing....it goes straighter, flatter and farther than anything I have hit/owned before. It feels solid and the R shaft feels stiffer than the Burner 2007 and 2009. I went back in time to find improvement and did not spend the 399.00 2007 price :) I hit and compared the 2010 model Supertri and it was no better than this 3 year old model. Duh! what should I do? Customer Service Golfsmith price....$175.00 new club, headcover, adjustment card info, weight key/wrench all together. Never hit..still had the plasic wrap on it Similar Products Used: Burner 2009,Burner 2007, Cobra 2003,Corbra 2001 Titleist 2004,Ping 2005

TaylorMade R7 Superquad
I have only been playing golf for 6 months now and have been searching for a driver to suit me and believe me I have tried lots. I recently purchased an 11.5 degree Regular R7 Superquad. I set the club up to a low draw and set of to the range. I couldn't beleieve my eyes when I sent the ball straight to the back of the range. I thought it was a fluke so I set myself up again and did the same.I kept hitting 300 yard drives over and over again.

TaylorMade R7 SuperQuad Driver
I think this is the only TaylorMade driver i've ever felt good with. I have the Ping G5 and testing the G10 and they both are fantastic. Well anyway, I tried this one and it surprised me big time !. The feeling when it hit the ball and the flight was so good. I tried the Burner, Tour Burner and all of the good TaylorMade's drivers and i think for me this one is the best of them :D Recomended :D Similar Products Used: Ping G10, Ping G5 |

Superquad 10.5 Stiff NVS 65
I had the PING G10 with stock shaft and couldn't control it. It was too whippy. I went back to the NVS shaft that I have had before and it has made a world of difference. I can go after it with this shaft and draw it and fade it. The shaft makes more of a difference than the head of the club. The Superquad is a good head though. Very forgiving and nice feedback. I haven't played with the weights yet, but this club puts me in the fairway off the tee and that's more than I can say for the PING G10. Bought it used and got a great deal on it. Like OMG, this club is sooo sweet. Its all black so its cool, and the grip is black too. In the dark its hard to steal because its all black, so no one can see it. Its ideal if you want to increase your drives and be able to draw and fade your shots better. I am very glad that i bought this club and I would recommend it to any golfer trying to get better with the money. I bought it used for 100 dollars and it is the best steal of the summer!! |
