Taylormade 540 XD w/ grafalloy prolite 35 S
Hit my new club for the first time today....It's true, this is the best driver I have ever hit. Before I purchased, I was skeptical....but not any more. It is VERY hard to hit a bad shot. Even the misses go straiter and farther than can be believed. I have been using a Ping TISI with a stiff shaft and a low/mid kickpoint and was a little worried about the prolites high kickpoint, but it was great. Bottom line, great club, great shaft...Highly recommended |

I didn't buy this club, but I hit it on the range, and It was the best driver I ever hit. I saw the demo in the proshop, so just for kicks I tried it out. HOLY COW, this driver is LOOONG. I normally hit a high hook, but I was hitting a nice draw. The only downside of this club is the $400 Price tag. |

I know one thing, "What drive you?" really mean something, I own a Ping Si3 380, never hit it well off the tee in any try, enough is enough, sold it on ebay, got this Taylormade new weapon, MAN! what a mistake I am making by not getting the 540XD before! This baby really fly! The 540XD is perfect size for me, with stiff shaft, it gives me the confident for every hole! XD really means XD really striaght! Even miss hit, see my handicap, my miss hit ratio is pretty high, but this driver will help to lower my handicap in this season! Don't make a mistake like me, try the 540XD before you want to purchase any driver, test it out first! A real good WINNER in here! Customer Service Don't know, never try... Taylor Made R540 XD Driver
i had been using a callaway big bertha for years and the major difference between the big bertha and the r540xd was that the 540 xd head was almost twice as large. it really took some getting used to. the first time out i hit it very poorly. but i gradually got better the more i played it. last weekend i hit 12 out of the 14 fairways i used it and smoked the ball each time. once i got over the size i can't seem to mis-hit it. even the off-center shots go straight and far. i think i've made a new best friend! Driver sets up very nicely. Lightweight but ball goes straight and long. The shaft is a Graffaloy 35 Prolite. I tried the 580XD and decided that 400cc was big enough. Works great! Customer Service None needed Similar Products Used: Golfsmith 400cc Cor Plus driver |

This club is deep and straight. It sets up well at address, it is easy to square up during the swing. I would purchase with an after market shaft, more consistent. Otherwise, Love it! Similar Products Used: name it... |

After several drivers all nice Launcher 400, Cobra 400 sz, I just was not getting the ball out past 220 yds med. swing speed probley the reason, I tried the TM R540xd reg flex WOW !! the soft tip on the stock shaft felt so good and now 230-235 yds was my area in the fairway, something I was not used too. and the lower profile was a nice change I can really feel the club head working. This is the first driver I have ever owned that I will play for a long time. Second Swing takes trades and what made me try this driver was that they had all the popular drivers used on the rack execpt both the TM R540 xd and R580XD. the clerk said at least in his store they have not had any traded in. This is a must try if you need help like me getting distance Customer Service Haven't had to use them Similar Products Used: cobra ss350, launcher 400, cobra 400 sz, original launcher 330cc |
