I bought the driver and the matching 3 wood from my uncle about four years ago. At first I got discouraged and would use only the 3 wood off the tee (I still outdrove a lot of friends with that trusty ol' 3wood) That was my faulty swing mechanics though, not the clubs fault. Now, many lessons and range balls latter, I've decided to put it back in play this year. Results: I CRUSH IT. I also bought a Callaway Steelhead III this year but the Taylor Made is at least 20 yards longer (titanium vs. steel?). I remember reading that if you weren't playing clubs made after the millenium, you were playing inferior equipment that could negatively affect your game...What a load of B.S... That's just the kind of mind numbing propaganda that the big companies would have you believe. It's your swing not your equipment that makes you or breaks you. So instead of selling off an arm and the soul of your first-born to get the latest driver, take the 400 bucks you'll save and go get some lessons. You'll be much better off. I got the club from my uncle after he bought the new taylor made driver and like him I'll probably never switch. I can out drive all my friends and hit just as straight. Love it Similar Products Used: I work at a golf course so everything new that comes in I try it. |

I had the driver about a month before I snapped the shaft at the clubhead. After further reveiw at a pro shop found that this is not a rare occurance do to the lack of absorbtion between graphite and metal poor design simply having the top of the hosle touched with a diamond drill bit would aleviate the problem. But any way switched to a pro force 350 tip and instead of drilling out the hosle I went to the smaller thinner shaft and added a reducer to absorb the force. This worked great for two days until after about thirty minutes at the driving range my clubhead started clanking so I took it home and remove the shaft and basically all of the counterweights inside the club head are bouncing around in there. TM Burner Bubble 1, 3 and 5 Wood
I have had the Taylor Made Burner Bubble 1,3 and 5 woods for about 4 years. they are very easy to hit and LONG! I know this because I have been trying to make friends with a new taylor Made 320 for a year now to no avail. I am now back to the old Bubble and I hit it as far as I do the 320 and a whole lot straighter. I have a 3 when I need to avoid hazards and the 5 wood may well be the best club ever made. I hit it from 210 and it flys high like an iron and checks up! I have a tap in eagle to attribute to it a couple of weeks ago. If I choke up an inch it flys about 190, 20 feet off the ground. Great for the wind. Nice to know that great clubs like this can be bought for $50 on Ebay. Similar Products Used: None. Haven't even tried Orlimar or tight lies fairway woods. Tried the TM 320. Great for nature walks. |

I bought this club new in 1996. After using it for a few years I sold it and tried the BBB. I went back to it two months ago, and I have no regrets. The head is smaller than the newest titanium drivers, but it seems more manageable.I have a long, slow swing and the r-80 shaft fits my game. This club is straight off the tee and does not seem to balloon into the wind like the BBB. I recommend it for golfers with slow swings. A forgiving, accurate driver. I am a first year golfer who started out left handed, but switched to right handed. When I traded my clubs in, I didn't get a good driver. At the local course they had this for 75 dollars. I bought it and it has yet to fail me, wonderful club. Similar Products Used: Big Bertha Stealhead |

Picked it up second hand, in VG condition, with 10.5° loft. Have had it now for 15 months and remain very happy with its performance. I am currently averaging 240 meters and hitting about 75% of fairways. If I could find a 9.5° Similar Products Used: Calloway War Bird 10° |
