Taylor Made Burner Driver
For the past couple years I have had a love affair with my Nike Sumo driver, until last Saturday when, well lets just say that my beloved Nike driver found its way to a watery grave. Yeah, it was that bad of a round. Yesterday one of the golfers in our foursome brought out his Taylor Made Burner for me to use and if I liked it, I would have to pony up $50.00 for it. I really like the feel of this club although it was slightly heavier than the Sumo and I was not all that impressed with the grip. Yes I will admit it was probably because I am so used to the grip on the Nike Sumo. It's no big deal however. The Taylor Made Burner Driver is slightly longer, about an inch, than my Sumo and the shaft was Stiff. Might cause a problem. The Sumo had a flex shaft which allowed me to whip the club head through the ball. I could drive the ball 240-250 yards and I was fine with that. The Sumo also put me in the fairway more often than not.

2010 Taylor Made Burner Superfast
Just bought 2010 TM Burner Superfast and I have to testify- it lives up to the hype. I am 16 handicap and was using a R7 SuperQuad. Frustrated with lack of distance I thought a driver with less bells and wistles (ex. MVT) will give a "hack", like me, better results. If you are looking for distance and forgiveness... this does it! Even though my swing could use some tweaking, this club helps a lot. Similar Products Used: TM R5, Callaway Fusion, R7 Superquad |

I started off with an R5 Dual N that I couldnt hit straight for my life. I struggled to keep my shots as straight as possible, but only ending up with a banana slice. I dealt with this for over a year and during christmas, I got a gifr card from my sister. So I shopped around and did my research and came across this club and am I happy. All together, I only spend about $50 for the club. I took it out to the range today and solid shots gave great results. No balooning and the sound off the club was awesome even though I was hitting rock solid balls. I averaged about 210 with the range balls and cant wait to use my regular golf balls. I recommend this club to anyone who wants to upgrade there driver. *Warning* if you overswing with these clubs, you will be sorry. All you need is a nice, easy swing and I promise the ball with jump off the club. |

I had hit this club a few times at Dicks and loved the feel and sound. I owned a starter set of clubs that were Rawling Omega which included a driver. After playing a few years, felt it was time to upgrade something. I went for the driver.I bought this club almost new at 3balls for $79. I drive the ball further and straighter than ever. The light weight feel took some getting used to, but after a few shots at the range, everything felt fine. The head of club is huge, but that doesn't bother me. Had my stock grip changed for Golf Pride velvet and feels much better now. Highly Recommend this club. Customer Service Bought at 3balls and everything was great. I personally hit alot of drivers to see which one I liked, and this taylormade just felt good and through the whole swing. The distance is also a plus, I ganied at least 25-30 yards off the tee. I also felt that I could shape the ball very well with this club, and consistency is awsome. Would highly recommened it to anyone this is a heck off a deal you can go on ebay and find a good one for $90.00.

Well...I was a little worried that a new club for $150 might be cheap, but the booming drives I just hit today put all that to rest! WOW! I added control and about 30yrds to my drives...not to mention great consistency. The massive head is very forgiving and the sound off the club face is perfect. I love my new driver!!!
