I've shot in the low 100's-90's for years mainly due to inaccuracy of the tee. I used a Ping Zing 9 degree with a very flexible shaft and tried every thing to get my drives to stay straight but the flex shaft didn't help my slice. Even slowing down my swing. So I got this driver used from a friend for about $25. I played and hit this driver for the first time today and i was very impressed. The stiff shaft and low loft really help the ball stay strait. I hit more fairway today off the tee than i ever have! I drove 2 greens and averaged about 260 with this club. Shorter than usual but IN THE FAIRWAY! I usually swing about 100mph but slowed to about 85mph to adjust to the new equipment and loft change. i can't wait to see what i can do when i get my swing back to full speed!

I'm a high 80s low 90s kind of guy who have no consistency off the tee. I tried every single driver out there. You name it, I tried. My friend who runs a golf retail store in asian market (Korea/japan) told me to try the Srixon W-302 Driver, which I was skeptical about it. He said W-302 is the last model from Srixon that made and built 100% in japan and in his opinion, it is much better driver than the newer ones from srixon. I wasn't really paying attention what he said to me for over a year. Last week, I was browsing ebay and I found this driver on auction. I bid $25 dollars and I actually won at $23. I took it to the driving range along with my 2 other drivers (Callaway FT-3 and Tourstage Z350) to test it out. I still was very much skeptical about the driver. After a few shots off the tee, I knew my friend was telling me the truth. The trajectory was great and most of all, very straight. Couldn't tell the exact carry but I was carrying about 240. Maybe 10 yards or so shorter than my FT-3 but it was straight! Even a miss hit still landed within 15 yards of my target line. So I was thinking, 'maybe it's one of those days I can drive great..', so I tried my other driver, FT-3; It wasn't my good day at the range. I can clearly see that the Srixon W-302 is much straigter with better trajectory. Anyway, this is the far better driver than any other drivers I've tried. I was considering buying a new driver like Taylormade Burner 460 or Superquad, but now I'm glad that I didn't spend $300-$400 on a piece of equipment that won't be much better than my new Srixon. If you are having hard time keeping your ball on a short grass, try this. You won't be disappointed. Get it while they are still around. Well spent $23 indeed. W-320 fairway wood is already hard to find. I'm gonna snatch it as soon as I spot it on ebay.

Great club! Like others have said I purchased the club due to it's smaller 380cc head and price, I got it for $70 on ebay new! I couldn't be happier with it! Of course this is subjective but the club just sounds great, truly the best sounding Driver I'v heard. I've hit some booming drives of 280+. I can't wait to get my swing down and more consistant because I kill it with this puppy when I hit it right. As others have also stated it seems that a smoother swing really dials this club in and releases it's power.

I have been hitting a Callaway Steelhead driver for years, and have had great success. Always very straight. Wanted to try a new titanium driver and couldn't pass up the deal. Well after about 10 rounds this driver started to come around. I swing with a slower tempo and am now back to similar accuracy as the steelhead with much greater distance, especially on mis-hits. I think the Srixon products are top notch although I dont care for the Lamkin Crossline grip. Basically you won't find a better deal for a top quality driver

I started off not liking this club but gave it a chance and tried to avoid killing it and as always, the club started to deliver. Now - I really like this driver, it has a great sound on impact and at 380cc with a black finish and traditional design, it is a beauty since I really don't like the 400cc plus heads. It is long and easier to control than most clubs I've tried. I heard about Srixon while I was in Asia reading a golf magazine, they are apparently very hot in Japan and Europe but not well known in the US so when I got back to the US, I started looking up their products and found some great deals. Very well built and to me a very high quality driver. I had the R7 which is great but I liked this better - sold the R& for $300 and got the Srixon for less than $200. I like this driver so much I bought the 5 wood as well. I'm also looking into their 302 forged irons or the newer 403 cast clubs.

I hit a fade which sometimes turns into a slice if I overdo it at the tee. After trying a few clubs I found a few "forgiving" drivers; the R5, Bang and the XXIO. The problems with the first two are I find wind resistance a bit too high for my liking with big clubheads. I hit the XXIO (305cc) just as far and it is impossible to slice with this driver. I don't know what the Japanese did but it sure as hell works! So after trying out a few of these I decided to get the XXIO AX sole, but it was hard to find. The retailer recommended the W-302 and W-403AD as they were newer models. After some deliberation I went with the W-302 as I liked how it felt at address. Tore off the wrapper and headed out for 9 holes. First tee, whacked it over a pond as it made me feel confident, landed smack where I aimed it on the fairway. I'm not a hard hitter, my swing is about 90mph. This driver lets you work the ball too, if I try hard enough I can fade it right, or with an easier swing draw it slightly, with my normal swing, it just goes straight. Try one today!!!

I bought a Srixon XX10 about a year ago and tried to hit the thing... couldn't. Changed the shaft to a Grafalloy Blue and still couldn't hit it! However, I had bought a Srixon W-302 4 wood and could nail it. So, when I had an opportunity this past week to buy a W-302 with xtra stiff shaft... I jumped on it! Immediatetly on the range the morning of my first round with it I hit some booming drives. I didn't mention that it's a 7.5 loft! Anyhow, on the first hole I crushed a drive down the middle with a touch of draw about 325 yards. This trend continued the entire 18 holes. Thinking that it was maybe a fluke I played another 18 holes to be sure and it was no fluke. My buddy couldn't believe the yardage I was getting. Long story short the driver WILL stay in the bag along side it's little brother!

I bought it after a demo hit with absolutely no regrets. I used a Wilson Fat shaft and thought that was a good driver till the newer models came out like this Srixon. The W-302 is excellent in terms of current technology. The deep face is perfect in size and the head itself is not too big. The club head in fact is almost perfect in size for a fast swing - unless you like jumbo sized drivers and can't swing properly. The driver allows better players to move the ball left or right very nicely. I haven't used a 'better rounded' driver in aspects of driving a golf ball, although there are a few that compare well. (also, the price definately triggered the buy on the day being about $200 less than major brands listed below). The flight path is high and penetrating so if you used a 10.5 degree driver going down to 9.5 would make perfect sense. The hits are not loud like some drivers are (this can be a problem with 'shot-gun' like sounds). I rate Srixon products very highly - the Japanese really take pride in producing quality golf products. This driver beat the others on the day for my type of swing. There is new one coming out which I will compare to this model.

driver sets up wonderful, head is not that big @ 380. impact feels very solid. distance is amazing, control is awesome. stock shaft is all anyone needs @ 66 g., 3.6 torque and a high bending point. however shaft seemed a little long for me, cut 3/4" off and re-gripped with mid-size lamkin. srixon is for sure under rated golf company. their products are just as good if not better that the rest. I also play their 302 forged irons what a difference these babies have made with my game. see why they are #1 in Japan................................
