This driver is really nice. I paid under 100 bucks for the club on ebay in excellent condition with a killer (IMHO)shaft. Since the model I have is 12 degree, I had trouble initially with hitting it too high. I have since made some swing corrections and it is now "in the bag", replacing a very good TaylorMade R580, a Mizuno MP-001 400cc (which is also a great driver but the shaft kept me from hitting it high enough) and the Cleveland Launcher 400 (also not bad). The best thing about the Nemesis is the incredible feel that it has when hit well. I also have the Assassin II World Champion Stiff shaft and this is an excellent shaft, maybe the best I have ever tried. I swing somewhere between 90-95 mph on average, and only carry the ball about 230 to 240 on my best hits. As you may have picked up on, I don't like the huge headed drivers, and anything over 400cc I regard as suspicious. SMT is a great company and I am thinking about purchasing a Babylon to see how that driver performs. Hope this meandering helps someone. Good luck and hit 'em straight. I got this driver 1 week ago and i love it. The difference from my old driver(tour edge lift off) and this one is 20 yards. Easy to hit, and under 250$ with a graffaloy blue make this a great club Customer Service parfection custom golf, great job |

Another excellent SMT product! This was my first SMT driver it is a ten* with an Accuflex Assassin II World Champion S shaft. This club help me learn how to properly hit driver. It goes long and straight. I went ahead and upgraded to the SMT 455 Deep Bore, but I am keeping this club as my backup. I like it too much to let it go. If you are looking for a great club that will truly help you improve your game without taking you to the poor house, this is it! Similar Products Used: SMT 455 Deep Bore |

SMT Nemesis
I am the very happy owner of an SMT Nemesis with a 7 degree head coupled with a 47" Accuflex VS339 XX flex shaft. I'm a leftie who frequently hits drives over 350 yards (especially since I purchased this club) and absolutely love it! I also own Wilson Deep Red II 10.5 degree and Integra SoooLong 7.5 degree drivers. They both have their good points but now live largely in my closet since the Nemesis came along. When I first tried the club out I was impressed after the first hit. The feel of the club, ball flight and trajectory were excellent. I thought I hit the first 4 shots or so well, and then I REALLY nailed one. WOW!! The ball exploded off the clubface and sailed way over the 300 yard marker at the range. I remember thinking this was more like a weapon than a golf club! There’s a lovely sound at impact and the ball releases nicely when it eventually lands. I would definitely recommend this club to any long drivers out there as the combination of power and value is hard to beat. The lifetime guarantee on the heads is great too, as anyone who's busted a clubhead after the usual 12 month guarantee period knows. The 370cc head is a nice shape and comparatively compact size, especially if you're like me and don't like huge-headed drivers. The club sits nicely at address and for the skilled golfer the ball can be worked both ways. The head is quite forgiving, although bad swings are punished (as they should be!). I’d definitely recommend considering a lower lofted driver than you’d normally consider though. With the combination I’m using my launch angle is about 15 degrees, which can be painful into a decent headwind. Downwind it’s about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on! I’m currently trying to obtain permission from my wife to purchase a 4 degree version… I’ve let a few other guys try the Nemesis with varying results – the higher handicappers tend to fight a slice when using it, which I believe is more related to the stiff shaft than the head. The lower handicappers love it. They seem to appear from nowhere when I go to the driving range in the hope that I’ll let them try it out again! The smooth face never fails to draw comments either. Unfortunately there’s no perfect driver for everyone, but with the correct loft and shaft I’m sure most people could come very close with this one. Value is excellent too. I mean, why pay double or triple for something no better just because some PGA guy uses it and it has a Swoosh symbol on it? It’s no wonder the SMT arsenal of clubs has been so dominant in long driving competitions if this is an example. Customer Service Unable to comment - I didn't get this club directly from SMT as I live in Australia. im a little disapointed in this driver, but not much. i had heard great things about it and knew id buy one sooner or later. at 1st sight its just beautiful, in fact its still beautiful after that. i love the looks, name and end results, but it just feels clunky. its 2nd or 3rd string right now behind my BangOmatic. other than the gripe over the feel i really do like it and wont sell it, and itll see use from time to time. for the price its a screaming bargain when compared to the off the rack offerings from the big name brands. id give it full 5s but the clunky feel keeps it from being stellar. Customer Service not used but you cant beat SMTs unlimited, no questions asked warranty Similar Products Used: everything else |

SMT Nemisis 12 degree offset
Not going to say this driver has allowed me to hit the ball 300 yards, but I will say this driver with a spined ProLaunch 65 shaft has straightened out my very dreaded slice. With a good smooth swing I'm usually in the 240yd range and straight. Overpower the swing and it goes left, wimp out and let up and it goes right. Prior to finding this club I was using either 3 or 5 wood off the tees and being left with a long iron/wood shot for most of my seconds now it's driver, wood, short iron on par 5's or driver mid/short for par 4's This driver has really helped my game. And it's hard to beat the price of this club. Customer Service Ordered from 2puttgolf.com and they have great service. SMT has been very prompt in answering any questions I've had. SMT Nemesis
What a terrific driver! Purchased it from Custom Golf Sales off of the web deciding it was time for an affordable upgrade since I haven't played for several years. I wanted something different from the "name" clubs and noticed several odd brands being used in the LD competitions like Bang, Alpha, and SMT. So I read several reviews and decided on this driver. It isn't to big (370cc), but bigger than my Callaway Hawkeye and i liked the grooveless face. I'm not a long hitter, probably about 220-225 carry and maybe about 15 to 20 yards roll. With this driver (11*), i'm at least 10 yards longer on carry with unbelievable roll probably because of the lack of significant backspin. I'm guessing i'm consistently now around 260-270 which is huge for me! I'm using an Accuflex V.3 Icon stiff, with an overall length at 45" and a swingweight of D3. My swingspeed with a driver/5 iron on average is about 92mph. I'll be buying another driver soon and experiment with other shafts like the Grafalloy Blue and the Accuflex Assassin. And the other thing worth noting, the cost of any combo of shaft and head in most cases is "less than half" the price of any "name" driver. Lastly, you do need to remember that this head plays about 1/2 a degree stronger so you may need to go up to the next degree head. I'm normally a 10*, but I order an 11*. Customer Service Great... No complaints. Similar Products Used: Callaway Hawkeye TI |

Nemesis 355 10 degree
Previous driver used was a Ping Tisi with a WRX ust 65 flex R and a Ping Tec 8.5 with a OEM grafalloy tour stiff. Nemesis 355 with a Apache 64N Firm good points: Hot and boring ball flight. Rolls forever. Solid feel on impact with a Thud sound. Head design and size feels great at all points of the swing. Cheap. Paid 80 used. Cool looking smooth face. Gear effect works better then my TEC. Hit more fairways. Bad points: No slice correction. Most of my ball flight is a light fade where the TEC was a draw. But it still out drove my TEC. Off center hits loose more distance then on my TEC. But again it still out drove my TEC. Similar Products Used: Taylormade TI bubble 2 10 forged Ping Tisi 10 degree Ping Tisi Tec 8.5 degree |

this is by far the best driver i have ever tried. long ----you bet, but even better than just long, i find the fairway with a lot of swings that weren't very good. great trajectory--ball travels faster than i have ever see my shots travel--and lots of roll i highly recommend Customer Service no exp Similar Products Used: solitaire is long and straight as well a little hot for a fairway wood but a great replacement for those who would prefer to not carry a driver |
